I think both border patrol and military should be heavily armed with nonlethal weapons (rubber bullets, tasers, etc) and given a mandate to not let a single foreigner cross our border into our country, no exceptions, no matter of women, children, teenagers, STOP THEM ALL, NO ENTRY FOR ANYONE. But doing that is against current policy, which is, apparently, that they must be allowed entry, caught, given a court date and released into the country, often given t***sportation to their chosen destination. And then, there are the ones claiming asylum, no matter that it is a group of thousands, no matter that even commonsense says they are lying s**mmers, the current policy requires border patrol to give them a hearing, and somehow, they end up released into the USA or detained for return to their country at our expense. Bottom line is that our whole border operation is a farce, since none are actually turned away at the border, and all end up inside the US which was they goal. Then, they become our burden forever and ever. But, eventually, the USA is going to sink under this burden and the national debt and unlimited spending of Congress.

You are speaking of the way the asylum/refugee program was originally. Hasn't been changed on paper or officially, but hasn't operated that way in at least 2 decades. Claims today are flimsy, rehearsed, f**e, not investigated at all, and most anything is approved.

Keep in mind that 30,000-50,000 new ones arrive every month AND so, the costs are constantly increasing because the numbers are constantly increasing. Another thing to keep in mind is that when costs is mentioned it is ALWAYS tied to i*****l a***ns, never to refugees, asylees OR legal immigrants. But, the costs of these groups are horrendous just like for i******s. Refugees/asylees are signed up for all welfare services plus cash upon arrival, no waiting for them, no investigation of them, no proof of anything required, no denials for them. In addition, they, of course get free K-12 education for children and free medical care for all. Then, think about the yearly million legal immigrants. Since the 60's, the preferred legal immigrant has been citizebs from third world nations, people just like the i******s, poor/uneducated/unsk**led economic opportunist migrants, exploiting the USA for personal material gain. Also, because of chain migration, the legal immigrants bring in elderly parents, relatives with health issues. My point is that, while I cannot find and real numbers, it is likely that many, if not most, of these "immigrants" never become US citizens but do become US burdens from day one. But the costs of the needy, greedy exploiting "legals" is never mentioned, but we get more of THEM annually than i******s. So, bottom line is that, no matter what amount you may think is the cost to us of foreign noncitizens in our country, it is much, much greater because only the cost of i******s is ever spoken of. For the past 28 years, the USA has deliberately taken in at least one MILLION legal immigrants EACH YEAR, not counting other "legals" like refugees, asylees, TPS, etc. YET, PRESIDENT TRUMP NOW SAYS THAT WE NEED MANY MORE LEGAL IMMIGRANTS!!!! I just want to scream and scream my frustration!!!! No one can be trusted, can they?

Well they would also like to have total control in all three branches of government as well and the i******s v****g will really give them the majority in the v****g. That way they can change the pesky constitution more to their liking. Then AOC can become president and you can have 10 trillion a year budgets to run the government on and print all of the money that you want.
