As an educator I was unimpressed...
Can't imagine a high school student that uninformed...
Fun story:
In high school my social studies teacher punished me for being a 'condecending jerk' (her words) to another student by making me help her write an essay on a significant historical event...
I filled her (my fellow student) in on all the pertinent facts relating to the 'Great British Animal Hunt of 1759" (where the Brits k**led off all of their indigenous widlife) and how it contributed to the American Revolution (the Brits forcing the colonies to supply them with New wildlife to hunt)... And she wrote a pretty decent essay... Plus she concluded I was pretty decent guy after all (second base)...
My SS teacher was furious... As was my classmate... But the memory will last forever...

I can assure you that I have matured greatly since then...
Although I still give Students a hard time for not properly researching and writing their essays...(honestly... Who plagiarizes the first paper that comes up on google?)...
Of course... If you know any lovely Ladies in need of tutoring in the subject of 'alternate history'...

Good grief! I watched this, and I could not see where Trump was "insulting High School Term Papers" per say. He did say the new Green Deal was like a "term paper that got low marks." As loonie as the various tenants in this paper were it was a real stink bomb to say the least. Why any educated person would think that it was viable shows me someone who has an IQ that is questionable at best.
