As a former NJ resident, I still follow events that go on in that state. While I have many fond memories of my 68 years as a NJ resident, I can honestly say that I am glad that I am gone. A good example of why can be found in the following story: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-02-10/nj-v**ers-furious-governor-murphy-prepares-sign-rain-tax-law

While I have sympathies for the many middle class residents that will be affected by this new tax, which is on top of one of the highest real estate taxes in the nation, I say "This is the s**thead that you v**ed into office". Collectively, people get what they deserve. If you are apathetic and choose to go about your daily routine and not stand up and make waves, protest, organize, and otherwise attempt to change what you don't like, then be prepared to live with it!

You're right about that. All these politicians want to do to solve problems is tax, tax, tax. When people REALLY get fed up, is when they start becoming vocal and by then it's too late. It amazing how the government NEVER tries to cut spending, but ALWAYS raises taxes. I guess it's too difficult to get creative and cut costs and easy to sign a bill to raise taxes. It's the liberal way!
