After Trump is impeached or resigns, probably some sense of reality will return amongst the Trump base, and I’m sure some form of therapy will bear me out.

You're full of it~ will never happen.

"People will believe wh**ever they want to believe. Reason, fact, and logic have little or nothing to do with it."--Robert A. Heinlein, ""If This goes On--" Case in point, among the Trumpies and the"unco' guid" (Robert Burns) in the novel: The Earth is flat, the Sun goes around it, and both are only 6000 years old. According to the story of Noah's Ark, sea level rose about three miles all over the world, in a few weeks; then fell back just as fast. Where did all that water come from, and where did it go? (mumblety mumblety mumble mumble)

Here is a link to all of the major polling organizations in the country, surprise the Pumpkinfuhrers numbers are still in the toilet even after his lie filled state of the union gave him a little bump. And as America’s working family’s do their taxes his numbers are going nowhere but down when they realize how his tax gift to the wealthy screwed them.

Well, Kevyn, I disagree with you on almost everything however, the tax breaks may be a topic we can agree on... to some extent. I don't know about working families (ones that actually go out and get a pay check) but this retired family got nothing from the tax break...as far as I can tell. I got no benefit from raising my 14yo great-grandson, I got no benefit from paying a mortgage, I got no benefit for donating an old car. This was the simplest tax year for me ever. Maybe that was the "tax break" I got, simple no fuss return.

Just to keep it straight. EVEN though I did not benefit from the "great tax break" I think that there must have been some mid to low income folks that did. And even if they did not, I would rather give some extra money to the ultrarich than live in the hell hole that the Clinton dynasty would have put us in.

Flaws, warts and all that Trump has, is far better than the dictatorship under Clinton et al.

I wish I had joined OPP when Obama was president. It would be VERY interesting to compare comments. Those that know, was there as much pure hatred for Obama as there is for Trump?

I v**ed for Obama first time because there wasn't anyone good to v**e for and thought, what the hell, give the people a black man, and heck, maybe he would turn out to be ok. Of course, that did not happen and I v**ed against him for his second term.

And in no way would this country survive another dynasty president, so Trump was the choice. His temperament is not my cup of tea but his focus is. Go for it Mr. Trump.
