Isaiah chapter 46

Verse 1 - 4

It was stupid to worship man-made statues. The way they used to transport the large statues was on the backs of animals. Idolatry was replaced by religion. The bible should be taught chapter by chapter and verse. It is stupid to let someone lead you to Christ, who never followed Christ themselves. God sustains us. Religion is man trying to follow a set of rules to earn salvation. Christianity is when read the word of God, let the holy spirit speak to your heart. The word will change you from the inside out.

Verse 5 and 6

Man can not make anything that compares to God. It is stupid to make anything, and expect it to lead you. Religion tells us that the bible says honor your father and mother. We disrespect our fathers and believe the scripture means we should be treated like a child in a house we are paying for. If you read the bible, you know kids have a nasty habit of growing up
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Genesis 2:24
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
1 Corinthians 13:11
We all get two families. The one we are born into, and the one we marry into. You should esteem your second family over your first. Your kids need you more than your parents. Children are virgins. When you marry you and your wife can have sex.

Verse 7 and 8

Churches collect money and people think it should be so. Jesus says in Matthew 10:8, “freely you have received, freely give”. God doesn’t need you or your money.If you teach God’s word chapter by chapter and verse by verse, like God says He wants His word taught in Isaiah 28:10, people coming to your church won’t be a problem. If a church pressures you for money, that is a sign that the bible hasn’t been read.

Verse 9 - 11

What God has purposed, He is able to perform.

Verse 12 and 13

We are all far from righteousness.
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus name
On Christ the solid rock I stand
All other ground is sinking sand

Fred, I firmly believe that sometimes God chooses to use unbelievers to bring someone to Christ. I have seen too many examples to believe otherwise. Remember how God uses mysterious ways His wonders to perform.
