How to stop the BS!

Just read a book by William R Forstchen, "One Second After". Describes in vivid detail what could and probably would happen in the US after an EMP over 3 prime sites in the US happens. [In fact the government knows the US is wide open for this type of attack. Have heard some inklings on the news, not much but some.] Left wouldn't have to worry about the sick, infirm--they'll all be dead. Many of the old white conservative men would die-pacemakers, blood pressure, diabetes, etc.The N**is would applaud that only the strongest and fittest have survived. Of course most of the population in the US would be dead in a year, those on certain meds in under 90 days. Then there is starvation, plague, gang violence, suicide, infections from injuries, etc. The US would be a 3rd world or worse country, because no help would be coming. I'm sure the government think tanks have run a mock up of what to do if this happens. I'm sure the legislative and money types have a safe house plan set up for themselves. The rest of us are collateral damage. My household, dead in under 90 days. No other outcome. My children and grandchildren...will be gone shortly thereafter, not equipped to deal with ongoing loss of electricity, vehicles, and the aftermath--no survival sk**ls. If you are scrambling to stay alive, knowing the odds are against you...pretty sure the BS will stop. No where to go but forward...one step at a time. Problem I see is this...what if our own government is the one that sends out the EMP pulse on its own citizens? That way, they can control the areas hit, after they stockpile and retreat to their own fortress utopias and let the rest of us enjoy "hell on earth". Me, I'm good. I'll be gone. What about you?

EMP does not screw things up as far as depicted, but if power sub stations are taken out, and infrastructure centered on large population centers it's bad enough to create a ripple effect.

I was in nuclear missile systems and intelligence, so I might have a fair idea what I'm talking about. Part of what I did had to do with quantifying damage.
