In the sense God could have prevented Hitler but didn't...you can say so if you like but that won't change the reality, which is, WE are responsible for the evil we choose to do.

The Germans wanted Hitler so God let them have him. He's done it before...

So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking for a king from him. He said, “These will be the ways of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them to his char**ts and to be his horsemen and to run before his char**ts. And he will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and some to plow his ground and to reap his harvest, and to make his implements of war and the equipment of his char**ts. He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive orchards and give them to his servants. He will take the tenth of your grain and of your vineyards and give it to his officers and to his servants. He will take your male servants and female servants and the best of your young men and your donkeys, and put them to his work. He will take the tenth of your flocks, and you shall be his s***es. And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”


But the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel. And they said, “No! But there shall be a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles.” And when Samuel had heard all the words of the people, he repeated them in the ears of the Lord. And the Lord said to Samuel, “Obey their voice and make them a king.” Samuel then said to the men of Israel, “Go every man to his city.”

God also takes very unlikely people to do special jobs, Trump being one of them.

BigMike . . . Thank you for setting that straight! Those who get so gowed up over other people's sins had better watch it; I believe that we were told that we would be judged with the same degree of strictness that we are willing to judge others. Perhaps this joker does not have problems with keeping it in his pants, but he may well have other sins that are as worrisome.

Furthermore, if a person can never gain forgiveness, then what is the use of trying to correct those areas in our lives that are not perfect?

I did not v**e for President Trump because I thought I was trying to elect a "Saint." I saw the awful state our nation was in due to the greed and avarice of those who comprise the "Deep State," and I thought perhaps someone who was not a career politician, a man who does not need to steal from the taxpayers, or sell himself to others in order to succeed--perhaps with God's help this man could pull us out of the muck and mire we were in. I am not unhappy that I v**ed for him--I don't care that he is boisterous, I don't care if at times he speaks as though shooting from the hip.

Remember back to Obummer saying, "If you want your plan--you can keep it! If you want your doctor--you can keep him!" All the while he very well knew that those were statements made to mislead the American people. He knew that in order to install his comprehensive medical plan--those things would have to fall by the wayside.
