My understanding is that the UN wants the USA (and other developed nations) to fork out trillions and ??? give it to underdeveloped countries... to do what? I'd like to see one specific plan that any amount of money would "save" the planet from destruction. AOC says we have 12 years to do so, Gore said 5 years. The guy on the corner carrying a sign said it would be tomorrow.

The left brings out "scientific proof" all the time. When pressed on their experts credibility, they cry hysterical claims using labels against their critics. If they did not use those techniques, their alarmist predictions would crumble under the scrutiny of scientific review.

This whole false issue is about money. No one really thinks man can save the planet from complete destruction if the powers of the universe do their thing. I mean really, if we lived 100,000 years ago, would we have been able to stop the massive ice sheets?

I say use the money to deal with the effects of natural climate modifications and not try to geo-engineer the planet. Build desalination plants, end pollution in all forms, save the snail darter and the blue whale, or a million other projects.
