It is totally ridiculous to think that there are not those who are more discerning than others. Some people have eidetic memory, total and accurate recall of events and most everything they encounter. Although eyewitness testimony is usually faulty, there may be among that crowd someone who perfectly remembers the events. Perfectly! No shades or biases. To dismiss the entire human population as having not the eyes to see through any other lens but "bias confirmation" is to render t***h relative and humanity pathetically blind.

This insistence of bias conformation for all with vision is an excuse for the myopic to gain e******y or dismiss any clear sight. In effect saying, "Hey, what I see is just a good as what they see." No! The dynamic here is not a dismissal of others, as well as their personal beliefs and values, due to a "superior eye" but just the simple fact that some people see more accurately than others. Trouble is, most of us feel that is the t***h of our own vision.

I am a lover of real T***H. Not the generic, ever changing brand of information labeled t***h, that has nothing to do with what actually happened, but the kind of t***h that accurately describes the essence of the event. This my friends is the social media that is on the endangered species list today.

Men and women of ill will have been poaching this disappearing animal in record nimbers for the last 80 years. Since the issuing of the Humanist Manifesto in 1933, the academic professionals of America's institutions of higher learning were told that that it was okay to lie and not feel guilty about violating one of nature's laws that keeps society civil.

If our constitutional rights are deemed to be inalienable, that is God given, then no one should be able to take them away from us if the God of nature issued them to us. Then along comes a word poacher who reminds us of the serpant in the Garden of Eden, that shouts to us, Hath God really said that you have a right to expect men and women to speak the t***h?" For some strange reason I do expect everyone to tell the t***h. But serving as a cop the past 25 years I know that a t***hful person is a rare bird indeed.

Our Fonnders loved t***h because they knew what it was like to live under the kind of tyranny that defined t***h for everyone and forced them to accept the ever changing defination.

The Humanist Manifesto of 1933 basically said the the God of nature the Constiutional Framers invoked was not needed any longer because He was out of step with post modern man. So now the Humanists (atheistic socialists) free from the laws of Nature's God slaughtered the t***h with a weapon they borrowed from the serpant in the Garden of Eden. It was called a Lie.

Since t***h is what makes us act like respectable and civil human beings, we embrace it and live by its principles. We do so to make our free society a place where it's free citizens can practice life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness, all made possible because of the abundance of t***h in our midst. But something has changed. No longer can the average person be trusted to tell the t***h, because they were taught that Nature's God is dead and they don't have to live by those restrictive, out dated rules.

Embracing the t***h and always telling the t***h is a sign of a good heart. T***h makes us trustable while everyone else is lying. But t***h is not user friendly until you align yourself with it. This is what the word poachers of our day do not want to do. It makes them accountable to tell what actually happened, so they slaughter the t***h with another bullet from the gun of lies. :-(

As you said everybody has a bias based on their age, g****r, color, religion etc. The nice thing that Walter Cronkite and Mike Wallace did is to report exactly what happened and who said what. Even though they both had their own political persuasion it wasn't evident in their news cast as we were allowed to draw our own conclusions. We weren't told what to think or how to react to a story. We were given pretty much "the facts maam just the facts" and then allowed to come to our own conclusions based on all of the things in us that makes us unique and different. Today everything comes with a bias already built in as if we were incapable of thinking for ourselves and this is very demeaning and juvenile to think that their opinion is any better than mine or yours.

The problem today is that we have people who are not real journalists posing as such and providing entertainment that pretends to be news. A real journalist, even the TV kind, investigates stories or supervises trusted subordinates to investigate them and reports the "the facts, maam, just the facts." What we have today in abundance, especially on the internet, are people who just read others' stories and embellish them to make them their own, usually adding enough sensationalism to them to make their faithful readers keep coming back for more. Hence, the "media bubbles" or "echo chambers" that make money every time someone visits their sites. It's not always easy to distinguish them from sites you can trust, but if you poke around in them a little, you can usually tell.

T***h speaks most clearly in the silence of self, and anything else is the gibberish of vanity.

The only acid test for T***h is love in action, the rest is vanity.

It is popular and hailed as enlightened to say, "Create your own reality, meaning, and purpose: be wh**ever you want to be." This may be true but I see it differently. Who we are, as we are in essence, is far, far greater thatn anything we could ever make of ourselves of even dream to be. Why? Imago dei.
For me, there is far more t***h in one loving touch than in all the holy books ever written.

Reality is purely of the moment, making t***h too swift to be caught and yet ever still. We do not hold and express t***h; we are expressions of t***h, the relational wave breaking this instant; it has a total ambiance that is just beyond words, just beyond reason, and just beyond belief.

T***h is always brand spanking new, if it were not, we could not change and improve, there would be no maturing. So it is that each fresh nuance of t***h bears a different species of understanding.
Change and improvement are always a mystery.

T***h cannot be Dorothy''s ruby slippers or the Holy Grail or the Golden Fleece without the adventure.

Certainty is the weakest defense of t***h, for it make it an object and not a living process. Wonder and curiosity make a far better defense, for they are welcoming to t***h in all its many disguises and allow it to explain itself.

Error always holds a precious secret of t***h, so religion needs to be envious of our imperfection, for only there will the whole nature of T***h become clear. We do not plan for humiliations, failures, and losses, yet these can be the awful mercies of t***h, revealing far more about what is for our ultimate well-being than living a perfect and just life. T***h is alchemy, perpetually turning lead into gold and the reverse.

T***h is what expresses the exact nature of our existence. As God is love and we are made in his image, love is the essence of who we are. Ergo, Love is the language of T***h. As such, every era, place, and heart has the same interpretation of T***h, if it remains true to character. If you do not Love, you can not help but misinterpret the nature of your existence. Besides that, if you do not love..."you have nothing,,,you are nothing".
