Well in my youth (9 & 10) I picked beans & cucumbers & had fun while doing it.
Some of you must have grandchildren.
Send some of them out to get a taste of what life is going to be like.
Have you been buying half ripe fruit & waiting it to ripen?
It use to be fruit was picked & sold that was ripe.
Now machines pick the fruit, ripe & unripe at the same time.
I like bananas because they ripen well when they are green.
Look around & you may see why more & more fresh food is being imported.
Leaving us with more heavily processed food to eat.
Well some one must know where all this is leading too.
They must think it will be goof for us.
I make the best of it I can.
I am just glad that I don't have too worry about what a young child should eat or not eat any more.
Most people eat way to much junk food now any way. So do I.
But I have had a body that was fed well with home grown food when I was young.
Yes progress is amazing. We just put up with it.
A never ending supply of junk food to eat.
Take a good look around & see what that all means now with having sound minds & healthy bodies.
Just take a couple of pills & that will fix all of our problems. Or not.
