Committee has warned that Donald Trump is a threat to the national security of the United States.
Rep. Speier said on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports, “It is not normal. It is not normal for the president of the United States to disparage his intelligence experts or his military experts. And yet that’s what the president does day in and day out.
He is becoming a national security threat himself. And I think we have got to step back now and recognize that he spews out toxic information. He spews out lies. And we’re not going to accept that. His intelligence community has now stated very clearly what the threats are, where we are succeeding, where we are not. He chooses not to recognize that. On the one hand, Iran is complying with the agreement. On the other hand, North Korea has 19 additional sites of nuclear weapons. He gets an “F” for comprehension of what the national security issues are.”
Trump is a threat to national security
The most obvious threat to national security is Trump’s relationship with Russia. Trump is hiding secret meetings with Putin from his own government, which is a textbook national security risk. Trump is jeopardizing the security of the US and the West by maintaining a shady relationship with Putin that lends credibility to the impression that he is working for the Russians.
Trump has also jeopardized national security by k*****g the Iran nuclear deal while cozying up to North Korea. Trump is putting the US at risk by downplaying the threat from ISIS while damaging US relationships with allies.
One of the biggest national security risks that the US currently faces isn’t a threat from abroad, but Donald Trump occupying the Oval Office.

Pay attention, and stand corrected, here is what republicans including McConnell came away with...they feel that this president is weakening our standing and threatening our security. The senate is about to rebuke the president and support our intelligence and military advisers.

He's been a threat to national security since he took office and ignored repeated advice that Flynn was a threat, since he wanted to lift sanctions from day one.

Which intelligence community should the president be blindly supporting? The one that got weapons of mass destruction wrong in IRAQ? The one that told us plutonium yellow cake was being sought after and sold to IRAN? Or the one's that have been covertly spying on and collect records on all US citizens for the past 2 decades? Those intelligence agencies? Funny how the left were screaming about weapons of mass destruction during the Bush administration and now stand so staunchly behind those same intel agencies when it suits their agenda. What a bunch of disingenuous hypocrites!
