My "opinion" comes from a more informed source than yours. To think that a baby must be aborted to save the life or health of the mother one is either woefully ignorant or murderously dishonest.

My pregnant 21 year old granddaughter was diagnosed with preeclampsia during her first pregnancy. It was severe enough to cause her to start having seizures. There is no cure for preeclampsia and eclampsia other than delivery of the baby. The decision about whether to induce labor or perform a C-section depends upon the severity of the condition, as well as the gestational age and health of the fetus. The remedy was to deliver her son by c-section as quickly a possible, NOT pause to abort him, as that would have put her in even more danger! He was born 6 weeks pre-mature and had some problems at first but is now a healthy, rambunctious 3 1/2 year old.
