I've been calling christians who don't seem to know what a christian is alt or f**e christians for some time. Now we are seeing a divide that is going to start separating people who identify as christians, and here is proof that what I'm saying is pure t***h...

Here's a concert, Lady Gaga says she's a christian and christians don't exclude gays, it's not what christians are.

Can you imagine trump supporting christians that are at a Lady Gaga concert and what their reaction to her Trump and Pence bashing would be? Not that Lady Gaga is high on right winger's must see list anyway, if they were there they would have a tough time wanting to stay after their messiah and Pence's religious values got trashed.

I rest my case, there are a lot of christians who are having an impossible time relating to what kind of christians hard right Trump supporters are. We are seeing a kind of "hard" christian that is so far away from christian values it's hard to believe. That group defends their right to "practice" their beliefs in ways that are pretty unchristian. A tolerant yet true christian that has no hostility toward gays or people of other religious beliefs cannot relate to the other kind of christian, they are not the same, nor do they resemble each other.

That tolerant christian is going to object at some point to even be categorized with the other kind of christian, we are going to start seeing a process of identifying which one christians identify with. Watch this and if you are a christian that objects to her identity bashing, you can determine what kind of christian you are. This won't bother the tolerant kind.

I think I prefer the traditional King James version personally, this new regressive bible doesn't sound to suit me.

Love your neighbor does not mean that you celebrate and validate everything that person does. Truly loving your neighbor includes helping him renounce the evil urges he has rather than wallowing in that behavior and hating every one who does not celebrate sins.

We can have our differences and not voice them, or "Judge not lest ye be judged as well" There are many passages regarding judging others, I can't recall one in the new testament that says to go ahead and judge others, and that includes pushing your ways onto them.

Yes, the hypocrisy of me saying this to you does not escape me, or you can look at this in another way, that I am trying to help guide you down the true path of Christianity, actually following the preachings of Christ. If he did NOT want you to follow those preachings, he would have saved his breathe and not preached those ideals.

That or you can continue to be judgemental but in so doing in the name of Christ, you will only be disgracing him.

It isn't cherry picking, it is all over the new testament. It also isn't cherry picking as I believe all of Jesus' preachings to be of worth, even if I don't believe in any deity of any nature, I have much respect for what Christ is said to have preached, we can learn much from him, those willing to be open to such teachings.

Unless I am mistaken, it was Paul, one of Christ's disciples, one that walked with him and learned from him, I believe Matthew, Luke, and John also spoke out against judging others, Peter too was a disciple and he too spoke out against judging others. Did Jesus judge Mary Magdalene? Did he go ahead and cast that first stone?

I believe in treating others respectfully, apparently I am alone in this, it would seem modern day Christianity has strayed from the teachings of Christ.

As for speaking to you antagonistically, I haven't even spoken to you in this thread until now so...
