St. Jude Catholic Church of the City of Westlake Village was defaced on Easter weekend. The following brief story appeared in the April 11, 2013 issue of The Acorn, a community newspaper that serves Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Oak Park, and Westlake Village in California:

“Vandals targeted the 32000 block of Lindero Canyon Road sometime between Fri., March 29 and Sat., March 30, authorities said.

“The graffiti included a reference to homosexuality, several four-letter words and a swastika, a source told The Acorn. One scrawl reportedly said, ‘God is gay.’”

The story got no attention outside the small communities mentioned above.

I happened to see the story because I was in the Los Angeles area for a business meeting and happened to pick up the community newspaper.

If some homosexual group had been the target of anti-gay graffiti, the story would have been carried by every news outlet. H**e crime charges would have been leveled against the perpetrators. Sensitivity training would have been demanded by homosexual groups across the country.


Any time someone makes a derogatory comment about homosexuality, the gaystapo goes into action. The media comply with front-page stories to insure that the person who said negative things about homosexuals never dares do it again.

The Huffington Post carries dozens of articles about politicians and Hollywood types that come out in favor of homosexual marriage. They want to continue to work in Hollywood. Their pro-homosexual stance is similar to what Rome demanded of its citizens.

As long as the people offered a pinch of incense to the Roman gods, they were permitted to worship their own god or gods. Consider this story about Polycarp who lived between AD 70 and 155:

“The emperors of Rome had unleashed bitter attacks against the Christians during this period, and members of the early church recorded many of the persecutions and deaths. Polycarp was arrested on the charge of being a Christian — a member of a politically dangerous cult whose rapid growth needed to be stopped. Amidst an angry mob, the Roman proconsul took pity on such a gentle old man and urged Polycarp to proclaim, ‘Caesar is Lord.”

“If only Polycarp would make this declaration and offer a small pinch of incense to Caesar’s statue he would escape torture and death. To this Polycarp responded, ‘Eighty-six years I have served Christ, and He never did me any wrong. How can I blaspheme my King who saved me?’ Steadfast in his stand for Christ, Polycarp refused to compromise his beliefs, and thus, was burned alive at the stake.”

People aren’t burned at the stake in America; they are burned by the media for any opposition to the gay agenda. At the same time, homosexuals are protected by the media when they attack people who oppose same-sex sex and homosexual marriage. Some of the attacks have led people to lose their jobs and even be sued for not complying to homosexual demands.

I read that story, unreported by the media, last night but didn't seem to get with it then. I don't see anything from the media about it yet,either.

You are right about that but I just read on one media and one internet source that the 'Boy Scouts are letting in one gay boy but no gay adults. Isn't it something how the media has to talk about subjects like that? Maybe there are more people like that than you and I think but since 86% of people polled by Gallup believe there is a higher being than us how does that other 14% manage to keep us from using the name of God in so many places?

Well, God didn't have any mercy for the homosexuals. Look what He did to Sodom and Gomorrah - burned their asses to the ground. And in I Cor 6:9 it says, "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God?......nor homosexual offenders......." If you should ask me America is getting pretty close to Sodom and Gomorrah and no wonder God said He would never flood the earth again but would save it to be burned. These people are mocking God and they will get their day in court - the ones who are homosexuals and those who defend them. For some reason they think God is turning His head from looking at all this nonsense but He is not and will show no mercy some day when He is fed up with it all.

However, nowhere does it say what these "references to "homosexuality are" except for "God is Gay". There is no proof that this incident, if it happened at all was perpetrated by gays or if the “references” were even pro gay. The God statement may have just as well been a slur of God.

In addition, there was a swastika included in the graffiti . Why are you assuming that the perpetrator was gay, but not a N**i? Too close to home perhaps. After all, Hitler persecuted gays just like you guys.

This is just another example of a steaming hunk of churning bull sh*t put out there by you people. Sorry, just have to call you on it.

No one knows who perpetrated this crime. And it wouldn't have to be a homosexual, agnostics and atheists sometimes rile Christians, too. Or it could be a member of the church. Or some guy who thought, "That wall would look better if it had some pretty pictures on it."

God knows who did it. And he has plans for that person, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give that person a future and a hope.

Mr. Augustus Greatorex: I assume since you quoted the Bible that you are familiar with God's salvation plan. Indeed, God has a plan for each person for hope and a future. He also gave man a conscience and a free will. There are persons who go against that conscience and they make evil choices. There are consequences to those choices and God will be the judge of those actions.
Every person has a choice to have eternal life through accepting His Son Jesus Christ as their Savior. If they choose not to do that it will be hell to pay.

You're right, God does know who did it. He also knows their intent. I understand the tennent of turning the other cheek, and letting God take care of them. However, my cheeks are getting sore, both of them. It is also stated that God helps them, who help themselves and helps others. Therefore, I sincerely hope that they find and prosecute whoever did this cowardly deed, and provide them a need for Genuine Healing and Hopeful expectation of a full recovery.
