I listen to this leader of the million student march occasionally and find that she doesn't know any more about how we will pay for their "free" educations. All of them have been taken in by their left leaning profs and really do believe that we should pay their way through college. When they answer questions about this subject they sound just like Ocasio-Cortez did when she said to a questioner that the how to pay for Medicare for everyone was to "Just pay for it" with a flip of her hands. I bet she has found out how really ignorant that answer was, but then she has been busier trying to convince Pelosi that she should be on important committees (she didn't make it) so didn't have time to talk with other Representatives to learn anything. She is so ignorant that she may never learn what socialization would do to us.

Anyway, listen to this video and see how really stupid and taken in this young lady is. If you get lucky you may find that like every time I listen to this thing on YOUTube it is followed by a really stupid, loud mouthed leader of the March who can't allow Cavuto to talk without trying to SHOUT him down. I laugh at them first and then get mad at them.

I forgot to say that I attended a public college in the early 1950s and although I didn't require extra money for playing games, and the like, I was never in debt to attend so I get pretty irate when I hear how these people who want to paid for playing want that. This little twit thinks that every student who works on campus at public schools should be paid $15.00 per hour which is 15 times more than I was paid by the school or anyone else. My last two years I got my meals and room from the fraternity I worked for taking care of washing dishes, setting tables, and generally taking care of things. About all I had to pay for was tuition and that was lot less than it is today.

I guess those left leaning students just don't understand that they would cause others to have to pay more because of the $15.00 per hour. Stupidity runs rampant among those of the left lean.

I always bought new books and don't remember buying any used ones other than when I got to the bookstore too late for new ones. I really don't remember how much I paid but I am sure that I could get some training for a job at least as good as teaching, which I did for 28 years. Oh well, back then books just weren't printed by liberals so such a price as you mention just weren't around.

I see so much of the cost of college coming from things like Medicare. The costs of medicine rose rapidly after Medicare came into being. By the same token costs of college rose very rapidly after our Congress let bankers loan to students for foolish amounts of money. Our government is to blame for both things.
