Sorry to hear, how did it work out?

Once she signed on to the ACA, the insurance company approved 3 doctors in our area. One dead, one no longer in practice, and one who doesn't deal with her type of cancer.
She had the tumor removed in MEXICO, and had to have legal help to get the insurance company to help with radiation afterwards.
She's cancer free today, but it was all BS!!
That's it in a nutshell.

Everybody qualified for the ACA. Something is funny about your tale.

She didn't qualify because she was on medicare and they wouldn't let her sign up her son since he was an adult. She tried to sign him up on his own but couldn't afford the deductible or the payments.

The ACA. I'll start with that one. My daughter went through hell because of it.
Obama, Pelosi, and the left caused pain, and suffering to one most precious to me.
Enough said.

Those stories are a tiny fraction of the ones where the self employed and those with pre existing conditions have health care they couldn't get before.

Healthcare systems are not the problem when the care itself is at fault.

Which is whose problem? Perhaps you will be a supporter of universal healthcare now, so everyone is covered?

My wife and I were paying $1800 per month plus co pays for Kaiser before the ACA because we were self employed.

Her 2016 Kaiser was $350 a month...2017 jumped to over $900...thank you republicans

So how much were the payments your daughter or her son couldn't afford, and how old was he since there were provisions for him being on hers until early 20's?

I've known a lot of people who wouldn't be able to afford $350 a month let alone $900. Not being able to afford healthcare is not an ACA nightmare, the nightmare is not being able to get healthcare at all whether you can afford it or not.

It wasn't the ACA that picked the 3 doctors, it was her insurance company. Right?

Glad to hear she is cancer free.

She was on medicare for seniors, not ACA. If the son is disabled then there should be provisions for him. There is more to the story.

I thought the ACA was supposed to fix all that. In her case, it didn't fix anything. Cost paying a lawyer to make the honor their policy on top of the price of the policy. She still has to fight them every 6 months to have her PET scans covered.
I the ACA was sup posed to give people access to health care. It doesn't it's a fraud.

And, oh well. She is one case out of millions who got screwed. No big deal. Just had to leave her own country for life saving treatment. That's all. But millions can go get a hang nail treated for free now. Great plan. Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette, right?

It is incredible how people look at things in such a simple way, but of course it is at their own convenience because they (you) want to “belief in something”.
That something is what you’ve been told! Everyday they feed you with lies, and you believe them of course.

There an old chinese proverb that say, “If you tell a lie a thousand times, it became true”
And it is true! But maybe you don’t have to say it so many times to people for them to believe!

Mr. Obama all he did (or said) as his BIG strategy to get the economy back was and still is for democrats because it is so appealing,
“to get from the rich and give it to the poor” in his 8 years.

All he did, economically speaking was another big lie, the Obamacare, definitely a Government Control Socialist program which if applied as Obama and democrats want, it will eliminate any competition, and therefore the quality and goods will go to the floor!

Socialism in theory is good, but the reality is and it is a proven one;
IT IS A BIG LIE!
