Yes it does look like a breakthrough is comming, as early as next week.
I think we will get the small amount of $5.6 Billion. (Pennies in today's spending budget.)

I believe the majority of the public supports a wall as PART of a strategy to combat i*****l i*********n. The liberal LEFT will loose on this issue, and these Democrats realize this, even if Pelosi and Schumer continue to dig in their heels.

One useful thing that has happened is that a lot of Democrats have been exposed early as to what their true views are - as opposed to what they told their constituents.
Wouldn’t it be nice to see some recall initiatives started on Dems that v**e against the wishes of their v**ers.

A bunch of Republicans in Congress have requested that they not be paid during this "shutdown" while others like Daine and Cornin are sponsoring a bill to withhold all senators' and representatives' pay during any future shutdowns.
All the GOPers are saying that since it's their job in Congress to keep the government running, they shouldn't be paid when they don't get the job done. Most of them cite variations on "just because the Democrats want to play politics over our border security..."
So it appears Pelosi and Schumer really did make a political blunder the other night. As usual, President Trump is winning and the Democratic Party is losing on this entire issue.
And this time the Republicans in Congress seem to have Trump's back.

The Republicans probably won't v**e on it until they've taken a straw v**e and they know they have enough v**es to pass. When that will be, who knows.
