I am an old white male.
I have viewed life now in to my 82nd year.
I have had a good life.
I am well aware of the role my whiteness played in it all.

It is the actions of some white males that caused great harm to others through out history.
Because of that there is much unrest in the world we each face today.

We can not undo the past .
We can only see that many things that have happened in the past do not continue to happen.
To delay in undertaking the steps need will only delay what could be done.

The control of what needs to be done if we wish to hold on to much of our personal well being.
Adjustments in how things are done has to take place.

We can be a part of these actions.
Or some one else may make the adjustments that we may not want.

It is only a waste of our personal efforts to try to hang on to all of what we had.
We need to adapt to what will be.

If we wish to have & keep as much of what we have now.
We need to take the lead in saving what we can of our way of life.

The surest way is to see that others will have the opportunities & obligations we lived with.
If we do that we will save most of what we have & wish to keep.

To deny others of what we have is to deny what is basic to our life's.
We deny logic & common sense.

It is only with a system that allows all individuals freedoms.
That can insure any one's individual freedom.

As a crusty old marine having reached this time in your life.
Your life must have been lived with a set of sound moral principles.

I would like to think that you can & will cope with what ever comes your way.
Neither of use needs what Trump has to offer us.
To be who we really are.

Now hold on there, Floyd, here are 2 quotes from back to back segments of this thread. So, which one is it...do we get along or are we divided? Seriously, this is why people don't believe liberals. You posted 2 completely different emotional statements, probably with no time lag in between, but you didn't reason with yourself or you would have chosen NOT to have posted one or the other of theses conflicting statements. The next step that liberals usually do is try to recover by saying that both statements are true, which all of us on this side of the aisle know that that can't be correct.
Another example is Chucky Shumer and Skeletor Pelosi ( sorry but I just DON'T like to look at her) with their rebuttal...Chucky said that "we don't govern with temper tantrums" while Trump has asked them to comprise many times on what they had already fully supported, but did a 180 after Trump was elected. All those two need to do to show how they REALLY feel is to go" nah nan nahnah nah". They ARE the ones throwing a tantrum, while Trump is almost pleading with them to cooperate.
I don't believe there is a Democrat party anymore...it's more of a gang...full of lies, hatred, hypocrisy, r****m (yes...r****m...if you h**e ANY race, you are r****t, and YOUR party plainly h**es white people), you welcome criminals, you give them a free living through high taxes for citizens( at least when your in power), and murderers ( Oh yes! We have to live in a world where we are vastly out numbered.
We can sit here an hope we can keep much of what you & I have personally.
Or we can collectively find a way to live with the others.

Be cause we are so deeply divided as individuals.
We as a nation can no longer look to maintaining our position of power in the world.

We all need to look closely at what MAGNA real has in store for us.
The only real ace in the hole is one that should be avoided (The H bomb)

Just how do you see what is going to happen If that mad-man is going to be in office much longer.
We are could end up in a war. Where we will never come out with any kind of a gain.

Well I personally do not see any thing good happening for most of us.

My father paid a big price for his time in the military.
He was one of 1500 Fort Sill men that saw the Trinity nuclear bomb blast.
It took a decade be for his body to just give out on him.
Seeing him strapped to that bed & not knowing if he recognized me or not is a hell of a way to die.
