Erdogan apparently does not want to be held accountable for not attacking the US allies we would be abandoning if we were to pull out. As much as I would like to be getting out of these conflicts, it's painfully obvious that the reason Erdogan wanted Trump to pull out had everything to do with being free to attack the Kurds.

He has already objected to the idea of military advisers saying that we need to leave them the weapons we supplied and taught them to use.

The Kurds have been our boots on the ground in the fight against ISIS. Pay attention to who is allies with who. Reports just prior to Trump announcing his pulling out that came out of nowhere had Bolton visiting the region assuring the Kurds that we would be there as they put on a last push to wipe out two ISIS strongholds, where several leaders were said to be holed up as well.

For some reason, this seems to indicate that Turkey and Russia have a real problem with this last bit of ISIS eradication. Why would Turkey want the US to leave if it wasn't that Turkey doesn't want this done, and in fact will wipe out the Kurds?

Erdogan and Putin are being very open about Trump doing the things that they want, they are the enemy of our allies.

Trump is destabilizing this static situation where Turkey could not attack the Kurds while we were there supporting them. So now Trump has Erdogan openly calling the shots with the US military?

With these simple words "you da man!", you can get Trump to do wh**ever you want. I'm sure the Turk told Trump he'd be weak if he didn't pull out the troops pronto.

What happens when Putin says "you're weak if you don't nuke N. Korea".
