As I am sure you are aware, time changes and the innocence of that by gone time is just that GONE. You are perhaps right, there are no true film stars in this day and age that meet the standards of when you were in your hay day. I guess you do not recall, but the Riffleman was Chuck Connors and the son was Johnny Crawford.

As for Mr. Rogers, what a character. So sweet and nice; I often wondered why he changed his shoes and sweater when he came into his house. In t***h, it does not matter because he was an educator and a gentle spirit.

There were times when people had their "good" clothes and "house" clothes. People did not own as many articles of clothing. The "good" clothes were changed for "house" clothes.

Thanks Rumi and so deserving with what my grandmother termed "F**g Day". Now commonly known as Memorial Day. Our true hero's rarely ask for the limelight and we rarely know who they are. Thanks for shedding light on these remarkable heroes!

I think it has a lot to do with the way you were brought up. Both of the boys still change from work clothes when they get home, hell they won't even go out to eat before showing and changing.
