Proof The Right Refuses To Listen To Or Absorb Facts Even When They Are Obvious And Easy

People need help understanding how other people think, what they are thinking and how they arrive at conclusions or beliefs.

Every once in awhile cases of truly obvious misinformation get put right in front of us, things that were heavily and well publicized when they were a thing, and then someone comes in and tries to completely change the reality of what took place.

Russia and their role in what they were doing in Afghanistan is just such a case where the fight that was raging in that country was well covered in this country, but had radio silence in Russia itself. The Russian people did not know that their military was engaged in a fight anywhere until dead soldiers started being shipped home. The only reason large numbers started dying in the first place is that the US was covertly supplying substantial amounts of weapons and training the Afghani resistance in their use.

It is easy to understand in broad terms what was going on, and that the US was factually fighting a proxy war with Russia in that country. The Russian government was trying to hide the fact that they were even fighting a war, the US government was trying to hide the amount of money it was costing us to destroy Russia financially.

Understanding that war is actually fairly crucial to understanding some dynamics and how the same thing may be unfolding once again if we aren't very careful.

My point is that the facts of what took place back then are fairly easy to dig back as well as find information written by people who were well informed as to what took place. If you were following it then there wasn't much of a spin on what took place, footage was in the news about what was happening to towns and villages. There was a book written that a movie was made from...Charlie Wilson's War...that goes into incredible detail about the politics of the players who made the funding possible. These were republicans that made this happen with democrat's support, and you almost have to admire the shady deals that were involved.

So if there was coverage right now that addressed from an outside perspective the official Russian spin Putin is making the official Russian state line, we would be looking at in depth stories on what took place that would have us laughing at the cleaned up version of Russia fighting the good fight against terrorism. We would be looking at the fact that Russia was effectively installing a c*******t leader that supported Russia effectively annexing a mineral and resource rich country. The resistance we were supporting was fighting against the idea of c*******m in Afghanistan.

So in the middle of an easy to understand war, one we had a very important role in opposition to Russia in, we have our president taking the exact completely false line Putin is putting forth for consumption by the Russian people. Putin has a media lock, he can and is changing the official text to reflect this rewrite. The US has media that is free to cover past events accurately, my point being that we have no excuse for believing an entirely false narrative spoken by just one person.

In response to easily fact checked corrections to this incorrect dialog the right has no interest in any form of trying to understand the facts of what took place. Trump says Russia was fighting against terrorism in Afghanistan, so that is what was happening. Obvious "little" facts or things that would trigger obvious questions such as, "what was the US doing supplying arms to Russia's invasion?", "why was Russia in Afghanistan in the first place?", would be occurring to anyone who was interested in the t***h.

My point being that you have to wonder about a mindset that has no interest in looking into obvious facts. So then we are left with obvious proof that this is how it works, there is simply no possibility of reality being brought into the equation with people who think like this. They will not even look at a fact if it goes against their belief in Trump.

It would be really nice if just once the right could say, "damn, he got this one really really wrong, where did that come from"? And then go where logic takes a person who is using their brain to the fact that it is a matter of threat to national security that a president could get facts surrounding Russian propaganda so wrong.

Lying about something when the t***h will do is a trait of a dry alcololic. Another thing that is a character flaw of Trump.

You wouldn't believe someone who sees things with their own eyes over what you've been told to believe.
Woodglue doesn't believe anything. Just an open faucet of l*****t dripping.

OK, here we go..........Trump screwed a goat. Have you heard about that one? Poor guy was a pre-adolescent Nubian provided by Jeff Epstien, and flown directly to Trump Tower by Bill, and Hillary Clinton.
The goat didn't perform well, so Trump stripped her from the Presidency.
I guess the Clintons should have looked for a goat somewhere besides Haiti.

See how stupid we are now?

The American people are STUPID in my opinion!
I've got no reason other than this forum to dislike you, or Woodglue, but I do. Well, you, not so much. You're just a turd, but others, I dislike strongly, when in everyday life we would get along well, laugh at each other, and agree that we're wondering WTF?

Please allow me to add this.

The facts Pelosi rejected came from the head of the agency that is on the ground, on the border.
Pelosi lives behind walls everywhere she goes, and it would be beneath her to even shake the hand of the person who fixed the flat tire on the car that she's beneath driving.
She is your leader. Enjoy.

Who said he passed it up? You need to check your facts. The goat was from inferior bloodlines, and didn't have enough stamina to keep up with Trump.
Must be because of the loss of goat breeding in Haiti. I don't know, I'm no expert.

Are you talking about Russia invading Afghanistan and what went on? You can reject my facts but it simply proves that you are purely ignorant about that war or you wouldn't.

Have you bothered to look into what went on?

Russia k**led over a million civilians, used villages and towns as shooting practice for the monster Hind helicopters they had.

This is a case where republicans working behind the scenes funded and made Russia's defeat possible.

Interesting that you would dislike someone because they are talking about things you are personally ignorant about, that you have some poorly founded beliefs, but no real in depth knowledge, yet you dislike those who are trying to point out some facts that you could easily verify if you chose to.

But no...you prove the point I am making, which is that you refuse to learn about facts that would obviously prove that Trump is feeding into Putin's propaganda.

Do you honestly believe that such a large percentage of your countrymen are ignorant simpletons?

I found what Archie said both honest and brotherly... "when in everyday life we would get along well, laugh at each other, and agree that we're wondering WTF?"...
