Record-Breaking Number Of Americans Want To Get Out Of U.S. Forever

President Donald Trump may have staked his campaign on making America great
President Donald Trump may have staked his campaign on making America great again, but more citizens than ever before want to get out permanently.
In 2018, 16 percent of Americans said that they would like to move to another country, according to a Gallup poll released Friday.
While that number matches 2017 data and doesn’t stray much from global standards, it remains significantly higher than it was during the presidencies of Barack Obama or George W. Bush. In the Obama administration, 10 percent wanted to jump ship. The figure was 11 percent in the Bush administration.
The divide between men and women is also telling. Since Trump took office, 20 percent of women would like to leave, compared with 13 percent of men.
Age is an additional factor, with 30 percent of 15- to 29-year-olds wanting to get out. That number drops significantly with age to 19 percent of 30- to 49-year-olds and 8 percent of people 50 and older. Furthermore, those with lower incomes were more inclined to say they’d like to leave, too.
So where would all the expats go? Canada is one option. Following the 2016 e******n, that was a common fantasy for the disillusioned and angry, and by 2018, more than 1 in 4 Americans indicated a desire to go to Canada, Gallup stats show. That’s more than double the number who named Canada as an ideal destination in 2016.
But that’s not to say a mass migration would actually occur. As Gallup noted, “people’s desire to migrate is typically much higher than their intention to do so ― as such, it is unlikely that Americans will be flocking to the Canadian border.”
The organization added that since Trump’s e******n, there has been “only a modest uptick” seen among Americans moving to Canada, according to Canadian data.

Ironically as our neighbors, it is still not that easy to become a Canadian citizen, it takes five years, even if married to a Canadian. Moving also takes money. But I know we're considering it. My daughter is already there. They also seem to have a better quality of life, as we delve further and further into corporate America, lock, stock and barrel.

People have already said the wall should be going north to south and not eat to west. I use to be of the thought divided we fall, but after seeing what these people are, I'm definitely more N & S wall. Let us divorce and live the way we choose. We know the right will become an oppressive corporate authoritarian government, suppressing the people and sucking them dry in a two class system, until they eventually will begin to collapse and they would use their army to try and o*******w us, who would be flourishing as it does under a Democratic Congress. So there it is in a nutshell. We'd be at war with them again.

I really do wonder about those kind of people, what are they so upset about. it could be they rely on the government to take care of them. or maybe lazy or jealous of the ones that are realists.do you remember when your parents told you. what you put into life, you get out of life. people usually end up in life where they belong. it's up to you.

Here's the kicker. Just up and moving to another country isn't easy and it's very expensive. I dare say that most would say the only reason they don't leave is that they cannot afford it. However, if they are well off enough to be able to afford it, they won't because things are just too good here. LOLOL!

Wrong. The right know what g****r they are, and are breeders. The left doesn't, and aren't breeders. They would be gone in two generations through attrition.
And if it did come down to a 'hot' war, we would win hands down. You won't be able to fight our guns by throwing your bongs, and dildos at us.
That's the reality.

So?? What's the problem? Last time I checked George Lopez, Brian Cranston, Cher, Samuel L Jackson. Laura Dern, Barbara Streistand, Whoopi and many more THAT PROMISED to leave if T***p w*n are still here. America love it or leave it as far as I'm concerned. Thou I might have moved to Costa Rica if Hillary had won.

Kazudy: if Hillary had won you'd consider moving to Costa Rica? You'd be just like the others.
You stay here and respect the e*******l process. You have another shot in 4 years.
You stay and fight.

Morgan, those "big, bad corporations," orchestrating a 2 class society, of which the Fortune 500 mostly back the Democrat Party are members of the Bilderberg Group, founded in 1954 by Prince Bernhard and Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands; the Group named after I. G. Farben Bilder that employed the Dutch Prince, one of over 800 Farben subsidiaries manufacturing weapons for Hitler.

It greatly perturbs me that the youth of today is so miserably ignorant on American and World history. Instead of spending so much time on the Internet, which holds a tiny fraction of information compared to the Library of Congress, try going to your public library and using the card catalog, even it be computerized. Here's a good book on how the game of galloping corporate globalism works to form the New World Order of a socialist utopia:

The True Story of the Bilderberg Group by Daniel Estulin
