Talk of impeachment is destroying the trust for government. The Stock Market is collapsing and the dollar is in trouble. But the Democrats do not care so long as they get this populist President out of office.

What is your opinion?

That is a particularly dim conclusion there, Hannity might say crap like that...

...meanwhile Trump has been actively doing all the things that would be expected to hurt the market, he has not missed many tricks I can think of.

...tax cuts that benefited corporations were expected to have short term gains leading to longer term pain
...allowing CEO's with stock options to cash out their positions with minimal tax liability is a loser
...jerking trade dynamics around with trading partners is not a good thing, it hurts companies
...Trump has multiple times tweeted negative things about the owners of corporations he has a problem with that have dramatically hurt their stock prices, he should have been impeached for his sheer ignorance of what is not acceptable.
...Trump's "easy" trade war and tariffs is beyond stupidity, and serves nobody well to destroy relationships
...past history has shown us that threats of closing the government down affects the stock market, it was a bad time to let his ego insist on his symbolic wall.
...the market reacted to his pronouncement that we were pulling out of Syria more directly than talk of impeachment is, Pelosi is actually restraining that talk
...aggressively raising interest rates and not backing off had a direct effect, the fed could have settled the market by holding off on the next raise.

Trump has done all the wrong things for the stock market. More good information is coming out about the cost or impact of the tax cuts, and it is actually worse than earlier estimates.

Talk about impeachment is because trust in government is already destroyed, along with the standing of the United States with the rest of the world.

I personally think that Trump's "relationship" with Putin, when it comes out, and when Russia turns us upside down, is going to cause a deep seated disgust toward anyone still supporting him. Trump is letting Putin gain footholds in the middle east that should not be happening.

Sinniek: you've nailed it. Democrats and the media want a recession to destroy Trumps chances for a second term.
It sure wouldn't be the first time the media kept referring to the economy going south, thus breaking the confidence of investors and Americans in general.
But they don't care how many investors lose trillions and how many Americans lose jobs, as long as it returns Democrats to full power.
And millions will v**e for these dispeakable Democrats and their lust for power.

I don't see any correlation.

The hyperbole over impeaching the President certainly undermines the credibility of those politicians who are screeching about it, if they have any credibility left to undermine. In order to press charges, there must be first a victim, then a crime. In President Trump's case, there are neither victim nor crime, so impeachment (the pressing of charges) is a non-starter.

As for the stock markets; they expand and collapse all the time, nothing new there, and the dollar collapse is a function of it finding its intrinsic value, which it eventually must, regardless of the political climate around it (Hint, it's zero, unless you count the value of the paper it's printed on).

As for what Democrats care about, that's more a 'touchy-feely' thing than any logically reasoned value system. They care most about what makes them 'feel' good, like the $15 minimum wage that is about to put half the unsk**led people in America out of work, but Democrats feel good about it because they gave everyone a pay raise. See how that works? And as a bonus, they get to blame the President for the high unemployment!

Trump's trade wars are disrupting the US and Chinese economies. Actually talk of Trump's impeachment is helping the economy from tanking even further.

Larry: impeachment advocates in Congress have credibility with those Democrats and others who elected then in 2018.
The majority who v**ed for them haven't indicated they regret their v**e.
Don't you just love democracy? Problem is democracy without a moral and logical education and participation by all is as dangerous to freedom as any other form of government.
Education: today it means give teachers more money and let them teach ideas matter how cockeyed...and deny freedom of speech and expression of ideas.
It continues in universities where protected tenured professors are overpaid and intolerant.
As to v**ers, without a free and fair press...all media, and you have ignorant. V**ers and non-v**ers who don't bother or care.
Welcome to 2019.

By “free and fair press” you mean Fox, right?

Gee so it's don't do any tax cuts but raise taxes and spend more and by all means put all the costly regulations back on corporations and tax them to the hilt now that will give certainly give the markets a boost !

In general home schooling parents are educated people and they don't want to see their children are being indoctrinated by the government that controlled by the g*******ts.

The homeschooling kids would get real education and learn about the US Constitution the way it was written not one that had been manipulated and changed to meet the g*******ts' narrative.

Too bad that will disqualify them for higher education. But then, that’s the people who support fools like Trump.

Fool like Trump because he believes "America First" not "G*******ts" first. And I prefer this 'fool guy' over the Muslim 44th who believes in "g*******ts" first and Americans last on his list.
