There has always been a lot of disagreement over what is the
smallest caliber gun to use for self defense.
This may settle the argument.

Woman Stops Deadly Grizzly Attack With Tiny ..25 Cal Pistol

Many people think there are too many guns,
but read this and you may change your mind!

This is a story of self-control and marksmanship with an itsy-bitsy shooter by a woman against a fierce predator.
What is the smallest caliber you trust to protect yourself?
This is her story about her Beretta Jetfire .25 cal pistol and how it saved her life:

“While out hiking in Alberta Canada with my husband we were
surprised by a huge grizzly bear charging at us from out of nowhere.
She must have been protecting her cubs because she was extremely aggressive.

If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire with me I would not be here today!

Just one shot to my husband's knee cap was all it took;
The bear got him easily, and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace.

It's one of my favourite pistols in my collection!”

I found these little black bear paw print on the front of the porch a couple weeks ago. Wait till he smells that the Hummingbird feeders are back out.

Methinks you will be seeing more tracks and be going through GALLONS of hummer food! Best keep an eye on those good dogs though! Foolishly I once left some cereal in a container with a tight fitting lid in our restored vintage travel trailer. A bear cub broke the window panes in the old style jealousy window and a cabinet latch to get to it. Luckily that was all the damage he did. He left prints similar to those on your deck on the side of the trailer, and we found the food container down in the gully. Empty of course :-P

Two friends were out for a walk and one said to the other, " what if we run into a bear? " The other friend said, " well I can run pretty fast ". "You really think you can outrun a bear? " " No I just have to outrun you."

Don't know why our liberal have not commented on this topic. Guess they do not like bear stories. Probably had nightmares from when mommy read them The Goldilocks and Three Bears at bedtime.
