The working Malinois is an amazing dog, exceptionally powerful, faithful to the owner but with a dominant temperament they are NOT for any but the serious and well trained dog handler. In the wrong hands they are dangerous. Research if you want one and make sure you have successfully trained and have working titles on at LEAST 4 dogs before dealing with a MAL.

They are far above my handling sk**l.. Labs are more my level..

But they are a heck of a dog as this video shows...

The way that that "dog" climbs trees and buildings it looks more like one of the large tree climbing cats than a dog. No thanks German Short Haired Pointers were all that I trained and they were trained for bird hunting only.

Their climbing ability is one reason that they make such great search and rescue dogs, but if they want to get over your fence they WILL. They are also great military dogs. I have watched them work and am still amazed at their agility.

They do appear to have a high concentration of cat in their genes.

That's for sure. By the way how is Dave's artwork coming along it has been some time since Lindajoy has published any of his drawings.

He is now in a new school and trying to do the homework. The artwork is having to be put aside for a while. I am so glad he is in the new school however, as it is a full time private school. He is now able to cope with the stress of school, which means he has come a LONG WAY in the last year. Seriously abused children have to learn different coping sk**ls when they are out of the abuse environment and he is trying so hard and we are proud of him and what he has accomplished.

I am glad to hear that tell him we miss his artwork but to keep up the good work in school as it will carry him far in life. Take Care NPP you and SWMBO are such a blessing to these kids.
