So whose fault is it really for the shutdown?

It is the Democrats fault for being such a bunch of petty, childish, hypocritical i***ts that won't fund the wall and border security (that they know the American people want), because of their hatred for Trump.

They h**e the fact that Trump is not a "politician" and was elected to the Presidency and as time goes on, they are jealous of Trump because he had the gall to keep promises he made during his campaign. That sets a bad example for politicians who are used to making promises during campaigns that they have no intention of keeping once elected. It really sad when a "non-politician" does a better job of governing a country than "experienced politicians" have done for years. It makes them look bad (and rightly so) and threatens the necessity of re-electing "politicians" that don't follow through on fulfilling their campaign promises. It also undermines the concept of "career politicians".

President Trump has done more for the American people in two years than most of the Congressional politicians that have been seated for decades and they don't like it. The more he does for the good of the country, the less the career politicians like it.

Trump at this point should forget his r****t iron curtain and start worrying about the wall he is likely to be seeing up close from the exercise yard at Leavenworth prison.

Kevyn, before you send Trump to the gallows, I got a movie you must see. Consider for a moment if you have an open mind, that Trump is Senator Smith, and Schumer is Senator Payne. And James Taylor is the Democrats. Nothing has changed since the movie was made in 1939, this American drama film starring Jean Arthur and James Stewart about one man's effect on American politics. If you haven't seen this movie lately, I would recommend watching online. Harry Carey, Jr. is the Vice President(President of the Senate)

The film opens as a succession of reporters shouting into telephones announcing the death of Senator Samuel Foley. Senator Joseph Paine, the state's senior senator, puts in a call to Governor Hubert "Happy" Hopper reporting the news. Hopper then calls powerful media magnate Jim Taylor, who controls the state along with the lawmakers. Taylor orders Hopper to appoint an interim senator to fill out Foley's term. Taylor has proposed a pork barrel bill to finance an unneeded dam at Willet Creek, so he warns Hopper he wants a senator who "can't ask any questions or talk out of turn." After having a number of his appointees rejected, at the suggestion of his children Hopper nominates local hero Jefferson Smith, leader of the state's Boy Rangers group. Smith is an innocent, wide-eyed idealist who quotes Jefferson and Lincoln and idolizes Paine, who had known his crusading editor father.

In Washington, after a humiliating introduction to the press corps, Smith threatens to resign, but Paine encourages him to stay and work on a bill for a national boy's camp. With the help of his cynical secretary Clarissa Sanders, Smith prepares to introduce his boy's camp bill to the Senate. But when he proposes to build the camp on the Willets Creek site, Taylor and Paine force him to drop the measure. Smith discovers Taylor and Paine want the Willets Creek site for graft and he attempts to expose them, but Paine deflects Smith's charges by accusing Smith of stealing money from the boy rangers. Defeated, Smith is ready to depart Washington, but Saunders, whose patriotic zeal has been renewed by Smith, exhorts him to stay and fight. Smith returns to the Senate chamber and, while Taylor musters the media forces in his state to destroy him, Smith engages in a climactic filibuster to speak his piece.

Although all hope seems lost, the senators begin to pay attention as Smith approaches utter exhaustion. Paine has one last card up his sleeve: he brings in bins of letters and telegrams from Smith's home state from people demanding his expulsion. Smith vows to press on until people believe him, but immediately collapses in a faint. Overcome with guilt, Paine leaves the Senate chamber and attempts to commit suicide by shooting himself. When he is stopped, he bursts back into the Senate chamber, loudly confesses to the whole scheme, and affirms Smith's innocence.

Consider the "Boys Camp" to be the Border Wall. Now, if you had an open mind you can see my point, however if you do not have an open mind your reply to this would be similar to the message I am responding to.

Check this out, we hear people condemning h**e speech, yet your response can be considered h**e speech. You already have trump Tried and Convicted. Hell you have him in Leavenworth. Don't you think that is h**e speech?

Whine all you want to: The "Irrefutable Fact" is that CONGRESS'S failure to pass a spending bill forced this government shutdown.

Another "Irrefutable Fact", this government shutdown CAN NOT END until CONGRESS does pass a spending bill!

1---- congress did pass a bill. That is why the bill now sits in the senate..

2---- The 1.6 billion was agreed to verbally by the orange one, then he reneged when he needed a distraction..

3---- At this stage, much discussion is done verbally, if no agreement is possable no bill is written. The back and forth has been modified several times.
But trump remains demanding his 5 plus billion now.. he is the only perpetrator for this shut down..
He told us all on TV that he would be proud to shut down the government if he did not get his way..
So he is the only one who hold the blame for this shut down. As well and the pay freeze.. Not the same issue, but a jerk move..

Another larger caravan coming~~ close the borders period.. All of them, period!! No more discussions and Trump has full authority to order it if he believes the country is in danger or under attack.. It is from outside just as much as INSIDE forces!!!

Close em up, ship out what doesn’t belong and try the bastards attempting a c**p or treasonous acts within!!!

As this shutdown takes center ring in the coming circus, it will become harder and harder for the msm to dance around the fact that congress must act, first!

Congress consists of two chambers, the upper being the Senate, the lower being the House of Representatives.

See Article 1., Section 1.
