Can liberals Survive the Long term?

"Yes, Liberals can survive, in the long term, so long as they have Conservatives and any number of clearly stupid enablers ready and willing to put up with their nonsense and i***tic behaviors. Liberals only appear when society reaches a point where survival has risen above a dog eat dog level. This equates to what we have experienced in the modern industrial era and where machines allow a degree of free time and food production provides surpluses. Make no mistake, I am very comfortable with Liberals, in the general sense but what I long ago understood a Liberal to be is now rather passé. Modern "Progressive" Liberals are a horse of a different color. They are nitwits who have stolen the Liberal name and are "social depots", intent only on pushing an emotional agenda. So long as they can derive hyper emotional feelings of joy, sorrow, rage or aggression from an issue. They are satisfied. They are irresponsible nitwits ready and willing to follow any cause that more intelligent despots can direct them to support. They are in effect, "fashion followers" and are dependent on charismatic personalities ready to tell them what they should or should not support. They tell themselves any lie in order to fit in and make themselves relevant to the particular cause that has their assumed their full attention." - Gary B

LOL....that can only describe folks who support a 'cause' that contradicts itself daily. Sounds like Trump supporters to me. Thanks for the giggles.

Nice attempt at excusing poor proof-reading/editing, Eagle.

Mark Twain is attributed to saying..."The difference between the almost right word and the right word is the difference between lightning and the lightning bug."

I say that we need a bit of what both sides have to offer.
The article used very good words to describe it's message.
I my own inept way I have been trying to get that message across.

Thank you for pointing out that article.

Little by little the true fate of this nation will become clearer.

One day most of us will wake up & smell the roses.
Then say why do we let our self's be so divided?

Only then will we truly be able to make America in the form most of us wish it to be.

As long as there is good and Evil, there will be division.
Some chose the side they fight for.
Some have no clue.
They can be known as useful i***ts.
