The Latest Attempt to Prevent the Border Wall

Virtually anyone who has been paying attention is aware of the political battle taking place, as it pertains to the border wall. President Trump has battled with Democratic leaders Schumer and Pelosi who are deadset against the provision of funds. Prior to Friday’s government shutdown, Schumer and Pelosi attempted to railroad the president into signing legislation which did not provide the capital for his wall. Trump, however, refused to do so, standing by his vows to increase border security. Consequentially, the government shut down and has yet to reopen.

As Trump, Schumer, and Pelosi duke it out amongst each other, the American people have taken matters into their own hands. Veteran Brian Kolf*ge recently started a GoFundMe campaign to raise the aforementioned funding needed for the president’s border wall. Thus far, the fundraiser has garnered over $16 million dollars and the number of donations increases with each passing day.

Of course, no good deed goes unpunished. As of Wednesday, multiple Congressional Democrats have united in an attempt to pass legislation which would “prohibit taxpayer funds from being used to build a wall between Mexico and the United States, and for other purposes.” The proposed bill is officially known as House Resolution 7332
What Needs to Happen Now?

At this point, the Democrats have become ridiculous. They have taken “resistance” to new levels and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that their only true agenda is working against President Trump.

The Democrats’ latest move to ban Americans from funding the border wall merely serves as a testament to the importance of building the wall. If the liberal left had their way, the United States would have no barriers whatsoever. I*****l i*******ts and other dangerous individuals would simply pour in at will
Now more than ever, America is in need of a wall at the Southern border.

What do you think about the new attempt to block conservatives from funding the president’s promised border wall? Let us know in the comments section down below!

Hard to believe at one time the Democrat Party was called the Party of the working man. Might as well be called SIP. Special Interest Party.

A mindless little temper tantrum, apparently the Democratic House Daycare program lost its funding.

All you need to do is go to Congress.Gov and you can find all bills, proposed, passed, or pending.
So, here is a link to https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/7332
It is very clear, in the "text" it says: "To prohibit taxpayer funds from being used to build a wall between Mexico and the United States, and for other purposes."

It is very shot, written at a 4th grade reading level... and if you look at it... the bill actually disallows the US from building a wall... period. The only country it allows to fund a wall is Mexico. It also makes Homeland Security responsible for anyone from another nation approaching the border responsible for "The Secretary of Homeland Security shall take such actions as may be necessary to ensure that humanitarian assistance is provided to immigrants, refugees, and other displaced persons who are in need of medical assistance and aid to sustain health and life." It does not say while in custody or while pending action... but, leaves it open for ever.

Here is the entire bill:
"To prohibit taxpayer funds from being used to build a wall between
Mexico and the United States, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``Protect American Taxpayers and
Secure Border Act''.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS RELATING TO BORDER SECURITY.

(a) In General.--No taxpayer funds may be obligated or expended to
build a wall or barrier intended to impede travel between Mexico and
the United States.
(b) Foreign Payment Required.--Any wall or barrier described in
subsection (a) that is proposed to be built shall be paid for using
funds provided by the Government of Mexico.

(c) Securing the Southern Border.--The Secretary of Homeland
Security shall take such actions as may be necessary to secure the
southern border by making maximum effective utilization of technology
and improved training of U.S. Custom and Border Protection agents and
officers.
(d) Increase in Immigration Judges.--The Attorney General may
appoint 100 additional immigration judges in addition to immigration
judges currently serving as of the date of the enactment of this Act.
(e) Humanitarian Assistance.--The Secretary of Homeland Security
shall take such actions as may be necessary to ensure that humanitarian
assistance is provided to immigrants, refugees, and other displaced
persons who are in need of medical assistance and aid to sustain health
and life.
"
