The newly elected socialist from New York, Alexandria Cortez, has just made the most sensible demand of her short career. She wants all salaries for Senators and representatives to be suspended during the government shutdown.
I am certainly no fan of the socialist, but on this topic, I, and many others surely agree.

I do not think she has the mental stamina to last in politics .There are really bad sharks in our government .They will try to control her and I think they will corrupt her .They are all for themselves except for very few who really are there for the people of America .

I don’t care if she lasts or not. Being in the democrat party in this day and age she will end up a leader of the socialists.

But, this one statement she made about no salary during a government shutdown is right on.
