I don't get it...Kareem Abdul Jabbar was basically defending Sterling's right to be a stupid r****t. He thinks too much was made of the whole thing, and that what he said in private should not be held against him...why are you guys tearing him a new one ?

I was always on Jabar's side on this one. I agreed with him completely about Sterling not talking r****t and don't think he ever did, other than to that b***h.

Off the topic. I played basketball against him in elementary school. We had heard rumors about how tall Lew was but no one believed it. When we saw him we couldn't believe it. I think he was 6'9" in Eighth Grade and played for Saint Nicholas of Tolentine in the Bronx. Needless to say, we lost.
