You have successfully identified the nit and focused on it. I think the issue was probably more important than being cute. What do you think, dummy?

Good point~!! I love people like him, they have no opinion or information to add, so they find a misspelling, a grammar error, or punctuation issue and they run with it. This is something that I would expect from a kid and not an adult that is concerned about the real issues facing human kind. But they do give you an idea of just how clueless some of the posters are on OPP and they make the list of posters to ignore in the future.

I'm glad you love me...can't bring yourself to laugh though. Yeah, vacations are a crisis, that need to be managed like the Cuban missile crisis? Human kind will wiped off the face of the face of the earth because of a vacation taken by a teenager....and I believe that was the start of this thread....

That's why I put a little smiley face, thought he might enjoy that, but no, we have serious issues afoot, that require....well, talking about it...because as our leadership has proven...that works so well.

Really.... ??? Okay, let me make my position clear. I am not anti-Obama or his family. I believe that he has not done a good job for a Nation, but he is far from the worst President that we have elected and he will not be the singular worst President in the future. I do not care that he or his family take vacations. I think that there is much written about Ms. Obama's vacations and her clothing. I think that our Nation will recover from our present economic issues. I do think that the government is intrusive in our lives, I think that spying on Americans is wrong, but I agree that we need better security at the boarders and in certain buildings. I am against Gun Control, but I think that there are weapons that most law abiding Americans do not have an interest in owning. I am against a******n, unless it is to save the life of the mother. I am against name calling and insulting other posters. I support all Christians, although I am Jewish. I am against allowing Muslims to break laws and demand that their brand of laws be instituted. I am for keeping our environment clean and healthy, because we are stewards of the land and not owners. I think that there would be environmental changes regardless if the world was devoid of humankind. That is my thoughts in a nut shell.

REALLY? You speak of briefing Pres. Bush and you speak well of him even though he's directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people in his takeover of the Iraq oil fields, through lies to and deception of the American people.

Then you say you don't think Obama's "done a good job". Well, no kidding on that one, eh? "But he's far from the worst"???

I don't get you at all. I don't think you get yourself. The man appoints a homosexual p*******e as "Safe Schools Czar", but that's not so bad, huh? He appoints a bunch of C*******ts to help run our country, but hey, not so bad. Everything he says about himself, his life and his family has been proven to be lies, along with damn near everything else he's ever told us, like "you can keep your medical plan", but that's pretty much okay with you, too?

I think you're a propagandist, and that you're making all that impressive sounding stuff up about yourself. Now I know, you're going to respond that you don't care what I think and etc., rather than give an honest answer to what you really are. RINO? Progressive? Centralist? Independent?

What possible excuse can you have for saying that Obama is not that bad of a president?

Many presidents have led us to war; President Bush is not the first and will not be the last. I do not know many people that were not in favor of war after 911. It was difficult to see any other position to take. Whereas there were issues with the intelligence gathered, none can say that President Bush did not do the will of the vast majority of Americans. We were attacked on our own soil. How many people would have not asked for President Bush's head had he just wimped out? Think about the position the President holds....he is employed by the people. We the people wanted revenge, we wanted to see the terrorist and those that would support attacking us, we wanted their blood running freely in the streets. Then the beheading, did that ever stir more hostilities. Obama inherited the war. True, it continues to grow in scope and the amount of lives and money; and he has not fulfilled his promise to stop and pull out. But, he is not the first to continue wars that were going on before they took office. Consider Viet Nam... how many years and through how many presidencies did that span? So, yes I found President Bush a very decent human that wanted with all his heart to do the right thing.

Whereas it is true, I do not give a thought to my likeability by you or anyone else, I find that your attacking me personally is a reflection on your inability to discuss or debate fact pertaining to politics. I will not offer you any in-depth information about what I did as a military member or as a government employee. Should you ever have a need to know, I shall provide you copies of my retirement certificates, copies of my awarded medals, copies of letters from Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George Bush, Sr. George Bush, Jr, and those from Obama. Indeed even letters from former Joint Chiefs of Staff. But, it is my decision that you do not have a need to know or to see those documents. But, because that is not the issue and you are trying hard to deflect the emphasis of this thread into a personal attack I will ignore your claim that I am unt***hful about my history.

Obama is not the worst president elected to office. Presidents Zackary Taylor, Herbert Hoover, William Henry Harrison, Ulysses S. Grant, John Tyler, Millard Fillmore, all come to mind and I do need to add Nixon into the list. So, Obama has not done a stellar job and he is part of my list but he does not rate the number one position. I know, you probably have not studied the policies or lack thereof of some of these presidents; most have no claim to glory (with Grant as the only exception) other than the people of the US elected them to office.

As for my political lean, I do not step in line with any political line. I v**e based on past performances, for what the individual v**ed for or against, and my personal belief based on their speeches (and yes I do know that the speeches are only sales pitches). For most of my beliefs, I am very conservative. But, I am also a thinking person and will not h**e or discard an individual based only on what party is supporting them. I am also a person that can look beyond the superficial and media hyperbole to see the motivating factors.

First, Bush. He pulled a Rahm Emmanuel on us by taking advantage of a crisis. Yes, we wanted revenge, so instead of going to war against our attackers, SAUDI ARABIA and Wahabbist Islam, he took advantage of the situation to launch a false war on Iraq for their oil. You make excuses for Bush, and to me, that makes everything else you say, suspect, because there is not one legitimate excuse for what he did. Not one. The whole war was based on lies and I'm sure you know that full well.

You're right, I know nothing about those long-dead presidents. My view of "worst president" does cover those of the last 75 years, however, and that will have to do you. I know of no other president in our entire history that actually tried to destroy our nation and bring it to it's knees, though, do you?

Do you know of any other president who's allowed our country to be invaded by a huge number of i*****l a***n Muslims? I could give example after example but clearly you are going to defend Obama.

I read your other posts where you say you don't support his policies and feel that they're harmful. Is that just for street creds? Because you're essentially taking the sides of Liberals/Democrats/L*****ts.

I have been called worse things. So, what do you want now? Do you want me to try to prove you wrong? Do you want me to support NeoCon? Or, is my opinion that you want every discussion to degrade into a personal discussion on personal biases that has little or nothing to do with the Topic or even the current twist of the thread. If this is your expectation, then you have come to the wrong person. I will never degrade myself by calling you or anyone names. I will remain as much as possible on current topic. So, now you know. I suggest that you visit a other posters that can be baited. I have a list if you desire.

Now I had to go look up both words. To be void of humor is correct, but most commonly used is devoid. So, I guess you are most correct. Another nit hits your bucket, how long and how many can you pick?

Let me then rephrase my reply. The section of my personality where humor should exist is now sadly toom. Wherein, in my estimation, the overuse of humor is vacuous, a tool often used by illiterate people who would nitpick credos expressed by sober individuals.

Does this make my absence of a sense of humor clear?
