Thank you for pointing that out.

If you read the article it was not about Obummer's vacations but the ones he sent his family on at tax payer expense. :hunf:

How sure are you that the Obamas did not pay the expense for Malia's spring break trip? Judicial Watch is not exactly a dependable source.

Okay, then provide us with your dependable source that says that he did pay for it. I would be very happy to review any information that you may have. But, it would be good if both sides could find sources that are truly unbiased. Say, the expense reports from the White House, oh that was the prime source of the data presented. Well, regardless provide your source and I will give it equal or even more review and consideration.

Are you aware that the trip took place two years ago, not this spring?

I do know that when President Bush received his briefings from me and others, he was never condescending nor did he ever show any signs of being un-p**********l. He was very concerned about our economy, more concerned about the War on Terrorism, and the morale of our nation."

So you were the one who told him to stop chasing Ben Laden and go after Saddam! You are the cause of all that misery!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"When he left office, I met with Obama one time. He decided that he did not need to know the vulnerabilities of our computer systems and that was that. He was impersonal, showed boredom when he was briefed about the same things as President Bush, and he seemed arrogant."

That's what happens when you give oral details to a CEO instead of giving written details to his chief-of-staff. Of course, you got used to that with Bush, who doesn't read well. You are excused.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"No, he did not cut my funding and I maintained my contractors. I kept my job, but now I briefed the Joint Chiefs of Staff."

Another mistake Obama made.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"Did I protest the War, Heck NO! You see I have first hand knowledge of the death and stench of 911 at the Pentagon."

So you knew all about WMD in Iraq on 9/11? Aren't you the clever one!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

"Where were you? Did you protest the idea of war on 911 or even 912 or 913??? Were you in DC or NYC? Probably not. You see, when you are there the horror is real, first hand....it sucked!"

How in hell would I know on 9/11 that you were going to tell Bush to invade Iraq two years later?? Now, you are talking gibberish! Better quit now before you lose it altogether.

Judicial Watch is more dependable than you.

Still, were you going to provide your undisputable link to who paid for the trip??? If you are going to say that the information provided is not creditable, then you surly must have a source to back up your comment. Opinions are great, but one must be prepared to show the source of their beliefs.

And, really is it relevant of when the trip happened?

I wish that you would have responded in a more readable manner. However, I guess you are putting the responsibility for Iraq on my plate. I was a computer engineer for DOD, I was not a decision maker for the war. My staff and I secured Information Technology..... something that should have been done with the Obamacare system.

Next time you reply to someone, use the quote reply button and then supply your comments. Thank you for your comment. Although I did not read all of it because it is much too tangled with my reply.

It is human nature to pick out or make up things to try to support what we want to believe rather than accepting the fact that we are all biased.

95% of our biases are unconscious and it takes some strength, courage, and persistence to avoid being controlled by these unconscious biases even if you are trying to do so.

Nicely said. I am guilty of what you describe, I try to be impartial, but I fail so many times. Just recently someone said that I had said something here on OPP and I was horrified. It made me go back and read each one of my comments to see where I had made such a statement. Thankfully, the person who made the claim that I said a horrible thing to and about him had lied. But, I can say, I was not pleased with some of my comments and wished I could erase or change them. But, OPP is not built to support such action. So, I now live with those errors and I put more effort into better research.... documents and writings from both sides of the fence. Thank you for this point.

I actually did use the quote reply button, but did not copy and paste to address your remarks. Quoting your remarks and replying to them is more convenient.

You understood exactly who replied to you and you understood my answer to each of your remarks. You just did not choose to reply.

If you were really honest, you would summarize the total cost of vacations for all conservative Presidents and compare that to the equivalent cost for liberal Presidents, taking into account the fact that Obama does not have a ranch in Texas or California or billionaire pals in Miami.

But that would require honesty.
