It seems that to many, treason is something which, on the surface seems outrageous, and thus the knee jerk reaction and accusations of treason. Like, OMG, Trump spoke harshly to so and so; treason!!! or OMG, Trump took us out of the Paris accord; treason!! or Trump kicked Jim Acosta out of the White House; treason!!!!!!

I've heard treason used most often by those on the left to portray any Trump supporter as well as Trump himself. I am a veteran who pledged an oath to my country and laid my life on the line to uphold that oath. I did not lose my life but did become disabled due to toxic exposure which caused my son and grandson to be born with birth defects. I think I have proved my loyalty to my country. Yet in the past two years I have personally been called a t*****r for my open support of our president at least two dozen times. Those labeling me a t*****r have been all been either liberals, socialists or progressives; and none has served their country!
