How does Russia accomplish all that while spending nearly 90% less militarily than the US? Russia's military spending is $66.3 BILLION compared to US (2017)military spending of $610 BILLION. Russia has 7500 nuclear warheads--the US has 7200 nuclear warheads. Enough to completely destroy the earth many times over. How much is enough?
