Russia is a very beautiful country and Russian people are very friendly!!!!...Best time to be there is during New Year...Even though it gets cold in Moscow...New Year decorations are extremely beautiful!!!!..And its a lot of fun too!!!

Not homesick...Just want to show that people of Russia are the same as us...I visited Russia in 1997...when they had their first McDonalds and KFC.....My home is here in the USA since 1979......But thank you for answering my post......

The Russians are more like us than even England. I watch a lot of their videos. They love good music, some act like rednecks, they like to party, drive like Texans, love guns and have a wonderful sense of humor, and make neat tools at home for different tasks, except for the guy who shot the mailbox with the candid camera guy inside who kept tossing his letter back out. That was just wrong.

Can't argue that. Do they still love Levis? The reason I ask is when I was a kid I had to buy my own clothes and levis were only six dollars then they started going up and haven't stopped. Shows how worthless our dollar has become. You thought I was going to blame Russia, didn't you?

Nah, i didnt think so...But when i was living there Levis jeans were selling for $200 on the Black Market..It was in the mid 70s....I dont think its worth much now...

Dang, $200 wow! Hey, I got a question that I hope you know. What percentage of Russia's military is Muslim? I've heard it's almost 50% but can't find a definite source and probably couldn't read it if it's in Russian.

I have no idea i was only 15 when i left Russia..Ihavet been there for almost 40 yrs except when i visited once in 1997, but i can find out for you if you want....
