Question: if liberals think the USA is so terrible, why are they encouraging i*****l i*******ts to come into our country in the first place?

If these liberals feel so oppressed under our system, culture, and this president, Shouldn’t these liberals be the ones seeking asylum for themselves in other countries? (Please, do! Or, since they call these immigrants “brave”, are they really just admitting their own cowardice?)

This proves to me their concern isn’t ultimately for the welfare of those they are encouraging to come here by any means necessary. Their concern is merely recruiting v**ers for their cause by bribery. Or something akin to that.

If these l*****t, socialist, liberals believe the USA never was great and it can only be great if and when it is “fundamentally changed” into a bloated bureaucracy that taxes the rich to give to the entitlement-minded poor, why don’t they just as openly and readily admit they h**e the fundamental principles that made America the exceptionally great country we constitutionalists claim of it?

What are those fundamentals?

“We hold these t***hs to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

It is self-evident that l*****ts don’t agree with any of this, except, perhaps, that it is historical. When they say America was never great, we must assume they also refer to this milestone in mankind’s experience.

L*****t liberals reject and despise each of the fundamental (and self-evident) t***hs as codified in our founding documents.

They despise the God-given gift of life by claiming unborn babies -with beating hearts no less- are nothing but a blob of tissue. They do this in order to preserve an irresponsible lifestyle that elevates the act of sex above responsibility for its consequences. Doing so puts their own “rights” above those of others. Note that the quote says “all men are created equal; that *they* are endowed by their Creator”. By speaking in the third person “they”, it emphasizes the recognition of other people’s rights, not just our own. For l*****ts, instead, it is all about “I, me, mine”.
Case in point: contrary to l*****ts, an unborn baby isn’t part of a woman’s body anymore than a parasitic worm would be. “They” the unborn, by having been given a life of their own, also have unalienable rights bestowed by God which rights are alienated by l*****ts.

Next, L*****ts don’t believe in liberty. They despise it. If that wasn’t true they wouldn’t be so concerned with policing and thereby destroying free speech, they would despise any attempts at imposing only politically correct speech. Wanting to dictate how people think is not liberty, rather, its the opposite. L*****ts love the opposite of liberty. L*****ts love oppression as long as they are the oppressors!

L*****ts also despise the concept of the personal pursuit of happiness. What they have to replace it with can best be described as “collective happiness”. In other words “their” happiness, certainly not those of us who don’t appreciate their godless worldview. For us they have a****a. If we don’t conform to their way of thinking, they are bound and determined to make us anything but happy!

Which leads to my last two points- L*****ts don’t believe in The Creator anymore than they believe in our unalienable rights given to us by Him. Thus they want to play God so they can appear to be the benevolent bestowers and protectors of our lives, and any liberty we may be “privileged” by them to have (as opposed to our rights), and even define for us what should make us happy.

In other words, l*****ts won’t ever be happy without themselves being the masters in the oppressive s***e culture that we conservatives have been battling since at least the American Revolution. The l*****t idea of the pursuit of happiness is to pursue destroying the right’s idea of their pursuit of happiness!

And that is why thinking people are walking away (#WalkAway) from the left.

And that’s why the rest of us say, “America, love it or leave it”, because we do love it, and for you l*****ts to “fundamentally change” it, you would have to become the oppressor you outwardly claim to despise, and nobody likes a two-faced, double-standard, hypocrite!

At least, that’s how I see it.

Not sure I catch where you are pointing this, but I assume at me.

One of the huge differences between left and right is, we on the right recognize that politicians by nature need to be kept in check and held accountable to the people they “rule” over. L*****ts seem to think that a greater quantity of politicians are the way to improve government oversight, but only if those individual politicians agree with their collective worldview.

Thus, being a conservative means, for one thing, realizing that our politicians are far from perfect. Therefore we expect them to have failures and shortcomings which only open accountability can prevent and/or remedy. We know our pot is black, that’s why we don’t trust it, and don’t want it growing to an unmanageable size!

on the other hand, L*****ts seem to believe their politicians can do no wrong and shouldn’t be held accountable as long as they are towing the current party line. therefore they get highly offended when their politicians are criticized, and try to hide, minimimalize, ignore or deny their shortcomings. (Thus the “right’s” current animosity against the MSM”.)

So in that way, at least, yes, I do admit to projecting a pot/kettle vibe!

Secondly.. There are many liberals/progressives/l*****ts who are deeply Religious ; want better border security ; hold elected officials responsible for their actions , etc...

Third ... We who lean to the right are often guilty of the same behavior when it comes to defending our elected officials ...

Last... Labelling anyone immediately defeats one's ability to listen rationally to what is being said by that individual. Which in turn makes any discussion pointless...

I believe Martin Luther King Jr, and Jesus the Anointed One well before him, had the best policy. It may not be the most expedient one, and far from popular, but in the long run certainly is the most honorable and effective. “Give me liberty or give me death” doesn’t ipso facto t***slate into: “...or I’ll k**l you, you cockroach”!

Only those whose hope is only in this world would consider sacrificing eternal life in the coming age for a few extra years in this one.

The irony that America was founded to the contrary of this principle (even while based on other biblical principles) doesn’t escape me. But the fact that Christ’s ecclesia (church) was founded firmly and directly on this principle, and held tightly to it until the time of Constantine, does not. The former is still a “kingdom of this world”, the latter is not. Just because the latter isn’t visible yet doesn’t mean it isn’t the enduring reality.

I’ll choose Christ and His kingdom over America without hesitation. That doesn’t mean I don’t love America. It is still the best form of government devised “by man”- which is also its shortcoming!

I should have prefaced my statements with a lot more, “it generally, but not always, seems to be...” and the like.

It is my philosophy that we should be as much or more critical of ourselves and those we perceive as being in “our camp”, than we are to our perceived adversaries or detractors.

What you posted is absolutely true on an "individual" level, not on a state or national level. We have a justice system that is getting worse and blocking as many of the president's plans as possible. We have a Supreme Court making laws not supported by the Constitution. We have the best military in the world and yet some don't want to use it to defend us. The only outcome, if things don't change, is civil war. The elite are not only trashing our culture they are demonizing our faith, freedom of speech, and religious rights.

Something has to give and soon. That's why I pray for peace while I prepare for war. When the first shot is fired I'll pray for victory. Some people say they didn't leave their party, the party left them. People haven't stopped loving our country, our country stopped loving us. Secularism has nothing sacred about it, and some things are indeed sacred. It's why the problem exists in the first place.

A nation can be in just one of three possible states of affairs.

First, a nation can be at war, in an existential struggle, using all of its resources to survive.

To survive such an embattled state of affairs, a nation must continually prepare its defense.

Next, a nation can be preparing its defense with maximum effort by using all of its available resources to increase and to improve its infrastructure and its most important resource, its people, whose health and education are essential and can be improved most surely by providing free healthcare and free, expense-paid education for all. Such pr********n of defense needs maximum Congressional spending, which needs a maximum effort to prevent inflation, which needs adequate taxation of disposable income without taxation of non-disposable income, which needs adequate and steeply progressive federal income tax rates.

Such a provident nation is most prepared to survive an embattled state of affairs.

Finally, a nation can be preparing its defense but with a LESS than maximum effort to increase and improve its infrastructure, NOT providing free health care and free, expense-paid education for all, being more concerned with budget deficits and tax relief for the wealthy and their heirs while mired in idleness, poverty, addiction, trafficking, crime, and mass worker incarceration.
Such an improvident nation (ours!) is ill-prepared to survive an embattled state of affairs.

V**ers who oppose free healthcare and expense-paid education for all, including trade schools for workers, guarantee that we will have the shortages of sk**led labor that cause inflation and the military recruiting shortages that weaken our defense. Their v**es against maximum Congressional spending guarantee deficient infrastructure and destructive poverty, yielding a sub-optimal defense that risks our survival from an embattled state of affairs.

All v**ers should understand that the provident nation is not only the most prepared nation but also the most prosperous nation because, while producing the largest federal tax revenue, it also generates the largest annual budget deficit, which is exactly equal to the sum of our annual trade deficit plus our net annual private savings. That sum represents our nation’s consumption of goods plus its after-tax earnings, a source of investment for growth. Thus, that sum is proportional to our prosperity, that which trumps all taxes and sustains our social health, perhaps the most important element of our defense.

So, preparing our defense with maximum effort is also our best economic policy, as proven by the decades of post-war prosperity created by our huge World War II deficit spending on salaries that were saved as “War Bonds” that were eventually cashed in for homes, cars, and kids, creating all the great suburbs that since exist all over America. Ask Granny for details!

V**ers must choose the state of affairs their grandchildren will inherit. May they choose well!

You obviously don’t buy into the American dream that, incidentally, has prompted untold millions of people to migrate here for. By the way, How many people are migrating en masse from countries like ours to countries with c*******tic/socialistic ideas like yours?

So, I “get it” that you don’t “get” the whole freedom and liberty thing. There’s no sense arguing the details with you, your mind is made up. Historical track records of both sides are on our side, pie-in-the-sky utopias like you envision and describe always end in mass oppression if not mass murders, or people coming to their senses and abandoning those ideas to return to capitalism. So again, unless those two evils are your actual goals, or even if they are acceptable consequences in order to implement your fantasies, why don’t you just leave instead of keep messing with what most of us believe is a good thing (the American Bill of Rights and Constitution)?

If America is so bad, and oppressive as you imply, then do what you liberals claim to be the noble thing and migrate away from here, even illegally if that’s what it takes, to another country? Then let’s see how they’ll like it when you aren’t willing to assimilate into their culture.

What you want to do, in our view (those of us who love the God-given liberty recognized and guaranteed by our constitution that is), is make America into one of those countries people leave to come here over.

Why? For us or for you? Don’t do it for us, we won’t appreciate it whatsoever.

Make it easy on all of us, just go to one of them and we’ll all be happier. Send us a postcard when you’re prosperous enough to do so. Or, when realize your error, and you’re ready to embrace the true American dreams of liberty and opportunity, I’m sure you’ll find out then, when we welcome you back like a prodigal son, how generous we really already are.

It's frustrating how divided people have become... And how simple t***hs have been replaced with clever lies...
I for one agree that a large number of those on the left appear to be at war (metaphorically) with their own culture... Not their country , which I'm sure they do love , but with the culture that has made that country great (in my opinion)...
Sadly , I often feel myself looking at some of those on the right and asking myself what the real difference is?
Where are the true patriots that are ready to sacrifice for us? Everytime I hear about this or that senator/ congressman who needs to worry about the next e******n I want to pull a lever and drop them through a trapdoor...
Which is why I am proud to be a Deplorable... I can list ten faults President Trump has in the time it takes to down a pint... And not one of them would stop me from supporting him (although I do occasionally need a second beer after I read a tweet... Sometimes a third... It was quite a tab trying to figure out conveve...)...
The man is out there day after day... Facing opposition that I would crumble under in no time... Working to keep his promises... Sacrificing... That is what a patriot does...
