conservative commentator Ann Coulter lashed out at President Donald Trump for telling his supporters that sections of his proposed border wall are already built.

On Tuesday, Coulter shared to Twitter a Washington Post Fact Checker article titled “President Trump says his ‘beautiful wall’ is being built. Nope,” which stated that Trump has proclaimed the wall is being built when in reality, it isn’t.

“The White House failed miserably to achieve its objectives on funding for a border wall, receiving relative peanuts,” the article read. “It sought $25 billion but ended up with 5 percent of that. Moreover, the money came with strings attached so that it could be used only for fencing, not the ‘great’ and ‘beautiful wall’ promised by Trump.”

Alongside her tweet of the article, Coulter also wrote: “Even a Washington Post reporter knows that not 1 inch of Trump's wall has been built. Does Trump think his supporters are dumber than a WaPo reporter?”

Both Repubs and Dems agree with the National Border Control Council that repairing existing fencing at strategic locations is effective in helping to apprehend illegal border crossers. "..fencing without the proper manpower to arrest those who penetrate it is not a prudent investment." I doubt that fencing is what Trump envisions when he talks about his Big Beautiful Wall that Mexico will pay for. I never thought that Coulter would be a person to point out how dumb Trump supporters truly are.

Once again I feel that you have missed the point... Having watched the video (a less than enjoyable expenditure of time) I have come away with the impression that she is stating the opposite... Those who v**ed based on the promise of the wall are not satisfied with the progress being made... And yes , there has been some progress made... Nor are they willing to blindly accept empty words, even if they are spoken by POTUS...I am well aware of what a wall is. And equally well aware of what the promised wall entailed... That looks like the fence that was started under Bush Jr. If that's the "wall" you guys what then I am sure something can be worked out. Oh, btw, Trump is still saying Mexico is going to pay for the wall. This time by the savings his new NAFTA treaty will bring to the US even though the agreement was rated as less effective then the previous agreement. Coulter is right. You cons are a dumb as rocks and Trump depends on that to keep pulling the wool over your eyes...
