Mexico is facing the expense of repairing the damages and cleaning up the messes your pequeño amigos from Honduras made during their stampede through the country. They fked up every town and city they passed through. Tijuana is a real mess. Bottles of urine, mounds of s**t, Porta potties and garbage cans are overflowing, creating a sanitary crisis, tons of trash--paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, rubber, discarded clothing, ruined camping gear, you name it. Migrants are getting sick. The Mexican medical professionals report 60% of them have some sort of respiratory infection. Los intrusos are vomiting, coughing and spitting, they are infected with lice, cases of TB and HIV have been detected. The doctors and medical personnel are overwhelmed. Mexican police and emergency services are having a hell of time trying shelter and feed them while at the same time dealing with increasing crimes (270+ MS13 and other gang members have been arrested). 73% of Mexican citizens want them the hell out of there.

And get this, Peter, Trump has offered Tijuana $20 million to assist them in cleaning up and shipping these waifs home.

Welcome to the wonderful world of i*****l i*********n.

When the government shuts down due to a budgetary conflict, the discretionary budget funds most federal departments. But those that provide essential services are not shut down. Essential services are those that include defense, national safety, and security. Many of these agencies are set up so they can operate for weeks without a funding bill.

Border Protection and Immigration, air traffic controls, and the T***sportation Security Administration remain open. The Justice Department remains open, but gun permits will not be issued during the shutdown. The Postal Service has a separate source of funds, so mail continues to be delivered.

There have been 18 government shutdowns since 1976,

2013 (President Barack Obama): Oct. 1 to Oct. 17 - 16 days
1995-1996 (President Bill Clinton): December 5, 1995, to J****** 6, 1996, - 21 days
1995 (President Bill Clinton): Nov. 13 to 19 - 5 days
1990 (President George H.W. Bush): October 5 to 9 - 3 days
1987 (President Ronald Reagan): December 18 to December 20 - 1 day
1986 (President Ronald Reagan): October 16 to October 18 - 1 day
1984 (President Ronald Reagan): October 3 to October 5 - 1 day
1984 (President Ronald Reagan): September 30 to October 3 - 2 days
1983 (President Ronald Reagan): November 10 to November 14 - 3 days
1982 (President Ronald Reagan): December 17 to December 21 - 3 days
1982 (President Ronald Reagan): September 30 to October 2 - 1 day
1981 (President Ronald Reagan): November 20 to November 23 - 2 days
1979 (President Jimmy Carter): September 30 to October 12 - 11 days
1978 (President Jimmy Carter): September 30 to October 18 18 days
1977 (President Jimmy Carter): November 30 to December 9 - 8 days
1977 (President Jimmy Carter): October 31 to November 9 - 8 days
1977 (President Jimmy Carter): September 30 to October 13 - 12 days
1976 (President Gerald Ford): September 30 to October 11 - 10 days

Under democrat presidents, the government shutdown a total of 99 days.
Under republicans, the government shutdown a total of 27 days.

The sky did not fall, the world did not end, and we are still here.

Build the wall, secure the borders, stop this monstrous drain on our economy and the destruction of our society. End this insanity. Wh**ever it takes.

So you are telling me that cleaning up bottles of urine is so expensive Mexico no longer can afford to pay for the wall? Well, they should have thought of that before they let the brown bastards in. And if Trump gives them 20 million will they then be able to pay for the wall? So give them the money and let the construction of the wall begin!!

And I just have to ask, what monstrous drain on our economy and destruction of our society are you talking about? We are a nation built on immigration. How then, can immigration, legal or otherwise, be the destruction of our society? Explain please...

Have you ever even read the i*********n l*ws? Our i*********n l*ws are based on merit and social morality and immigrants are supposed to be vetted (and deported) so as not to be a financial or social burden on our country. Just because past presidents since Carter have allowed these laws to not be enforced doesn't mean they aren't laws anymore. If you want to live in a country with piss, s**t, garbage and crime in the streets, the border crossing is a two-way street pal...I stand with my President who thinks our country and citizens deserve better, at wh**ever cost.

Hey, all the Mexican's on my side of the family have fully assimilated. As for religion--99% of all Hispanic immigrants are Catholics. Are they suppose to abandon Catholicism? For what--to become an Evangelical fundamental asshole like you? Is it a lack of assholes that you think this country is suffering from? Where are you getting your information from--Assholes anonymous of America? And now you have a thing for Asians too? So who assimulates to your liking? And you do know that the Arizona desert is strewn with the corpses of Hispanics who didn't make it. Do you think anyone would risk everything, including their lives, just to live off the largess of American generosity? I think not.
