Look at the timing. Also look at the way the citizens of many of those countries openly praised Trump as they began also moving toward nationalism.
I am not connecting The Trump Effect© to these phenomenon lightly. A German friend who has always been pro-America and anti-Merkel and I, when I was in New York, used to correlate the timing as well as Trump's meetings with various leaders, and note the changes that began occurring, "coincidentally," directly afterwards.

I wasn't offended; I seriously didn’t know that this was a slang term used by Italians for newbies. I came from a northeastern PA town and even as a young person I could tell the difference between local and New York Italians so it is no surprise they have a different slang as well as outlook.
I never liked my New York relatives, even as a kid I thought they had the manners of pigs.

The Swiss have been taking a stand for awhile now, next it will be France, the Germany when they dump Merckle on her head; hopefully, the people of the U.S.of A will stop electing i***ts, the kind that wood guru and Kevyn love!
