Man, woman drive from Arizona to Wyoming with kids in trunk.....

Two Arizona residents admitted Thursday morning to driving a car to Casper with children in the trunk. Law enforcement say the two children were in the trunk for much of the more than 900-mile drive while German shepherds sat in the car’s back seat.

Michael J. Fee, 63, of Peoria, and Amber L. Freudenstein, 31, of Tempe, pleaded guilty in Natrona County Circuit Court to two counts each of misdemeanor child endangering. They will serve 30 days in jail.

Neither Fee nor Freudenstein mentioned the dogs when they entered their pleas. Fee said there was not enough room for everyone in the car so the children were relegated to the trunk.

“I tried to make things as safe as I could for them,” he said. “It wasn’t anything malicious.”

According to court documents filed in the case, a Natrona County sheriff’s deputy spoke Wednesday with a third party who told the deputy the children, born in 2008 and 2012, said they rode in the trunk from Arizona to Wyoming. Fee and Freudenstein planned to travel back to Arizona on Thursday, the third party said.

When a sheriff’s investigator spoke to Freudenstein, she said the children were placed in the trunk in Arizona so the dogs could ride in the back seat, the documents state. One of the children got out of the trunk in Utah and rode on the front passenger floorboards while the other remained in the trunk the rest of the way to Casper. She planned to travel back to Arizona with three different children and the two dogs, according to the documents.

In a separate interview, Fee told the investigator a story consistent with Freudenstein’s.

How can we complain that children are cruel and they misbehave when they have role model like these? I like dogs very much, but I think this couple could have left the dogs home instead of putting their kids in the trunk of their car. If there is any sanity left in Arizona, the state should take charge of these children.... it is apparent that the parents value the dogs more than them. But, that is my thoughts!

These people... what can I say... some people should never have children! I am simply horrified, there are so many dangers in this from CO2 poison down to what if they had suddenly stop?

It is stories like these, PL, that rip at the hope we live in a sane and decent world, or have a good future. How could someone do something like that? It truly boggles the mind. It is so decidedly indecent, immoral, and cruel its nature is beyond our grasp. And it was not done by monsters, it appears, true degenerates, but just a couple on a long drive that did not want to be bothered by, "Are we there yet?"

You really want an answer? Find out how America allowed 60 Million unborn children to be murdered. Discover how unborn children were intentionally dehumanized to allow their k*****g. When you find the reason you will also know how and why children are mass murdered in schools, innocent people in malls, restaurants, hospitals, anywhere. I remember when these sort of insane mass k*****gs never happened. All mass murders of American children in schools have occurred in our lifetime.

Not sure of your point. A******n is ugly and wrong and immoral: is there something else?

You didn't go so far as to call a******n a sin! Too judgmental?

None of these mass indiscriminate k*****gs of innocents happened prior to legalizing a******n. Is it possible in your mind that America, (and now the entire a******n laden world) but primarily our own nation, has lost a respect for the sanctity of a segment of human life; the most innocent of all human life? Has it bled over into other areas, unfathomable to rational God fearing people, people to be singled out and indiscriminately murdered for no apparent reason except to cause maximum excruciating pain? Do you suppose the compromise of our Christian faith, the former American ethos, such as eliminating prayer in school, constant attacks on Christians, religious symbolism destroyed, holidays, etc, etc, had any bearing on the passage of a******n law? Humanity was separated from our faith with a******n.. I have looked for anything else to disprove this thesis but I can find nothing. There are, of course, several other contributing factors; for example militant feminism.

Um, immorality is a sin. Disagree? In the secular world, immorality is just getting caught and paying a price.

Progressives have difficulty with calling anything, short of certain types of murder, immoral. Sin is definitive, it leaves no doubt, but does leaves open the opportunity for forgiveness.

Forgiveness is always an option, and the best one.

I guess we'll ignore this one then...

I knew about this incident but what I read was was that the man was angry at losing a school board e******n and blew the school up but no children were k**led. If you're right and I'm wrong what is your point? Does one incident in 1927 justify 60 million unborn children being murdered, school shootings murders, and the disdain for the sanctity of human life? If not, why would you go to the trouble to check if you weren't attempting to provide a justification? Perhaps if you went to that much effort you might also back check the story and see if you can find one matching my recollection?

That is what you posted, right? Unless you're nearly 100 years old, that would be something of a misleading statement, would it not?

There were lots of a******ns prior to Roe V Wade. And lots of dead and maimed women due to the coat hangers and other methods used. There are also valid, non-Christian belief systems. One needn't be a Christian to have strong moral and ethical beliefs. Prayer belongs in the home and one's place of worship, not our government-funded public schools. There are reasons for the separation of Church and State. And "militant feminism"? Really? I suppose that, in your viewpoint, women belong at home cooking, cleaning and having babies, not in the workplace.

If you can find "separation of church and state" in our constitution then I'll force women back into their homes.

So far as back alley a******ns are concerned. If someone is tired of life would you also sanction government assisted suicide? Probably a bad choice to present you considering. Furthermore, there continue to be many dead and maimed women, physically and emotionally, who obtain legal a******ns.

Militant feminism! You have a question about that? Consider the current crop of obscene Progressive Congresswomen who never fail to show their disdain for men and who feel destined to rule the nation through their social civil war. One of many bad examples of true femininity found in the Congress would be Kirsten Gillibrand. She envisions an all female future through Intersectionalism. Identity politics at the worst. I'd never heard the term before she ran off the mouth with it! What bunch of perverted i***ts thought that pitting men and women against each other would lead to anything but disaster? No balance! What ever happened to interdependence between men and women? Who really cares? I do!
