Just because they were only together for six months, does that somehow invalidate their relationship? Dogs are very sensitive animals who love as deeply as humans. I have seen people fall in love that has lasted a lifetime from one single meeting. I have watched the same light that shines from animals when they meet their person. I have watched both human and dog grieve even to the point of death when they lose that special person.
I know that you did not write this article. But... the person who did, in my opinion, is cold and has little to no understanding of relationships....especially between human and their furry friends and family.
