I suspect that Trump is slow going until Mueller gets out of his bedroom (i.e.) finished and a new AG is in place. Trump can't suggest that anyone be charged, but he can suggest to his new AG that an investigation is in order. I believe that if he has such a strategy, it is a prudent one. I am going to wait. Mueller has nothing. 3.6 years into investigating Trump and he has nothing. It would have been leaked by now. BBop knows more than any body on this planet about Trump's malfeasance. How many times has he posted that Trump was going to be arrested any minute?
