Before there were established countries those who moved from one land to another had to make their own way once they got there. Today with countries and established boundaries those who enter illegally are seeking to reap benefits off the work of others. If they do not respect the laws governing their entrance into the country one cannot expect them to respect laws once they get here.

As long as USA's policy is to give free health care to every poor person in the country:

Until the WELFARE STATE is bankrupt,------and we are a long way down that road with $22 thousand billions (22 tri) in debt:
Money has been forcibly extrcted from workers and sent to WDC to be held in trust for senior's retirement. Where has all the money gone? The trust is filled with IOUs. The money has been miss appropriaed.
Some believe that SS members have a higher priority than WELFARE RECIPIENTS. There are no laws that props up thier position.
The #1 Security threat to the USA is debt. Not a miltary threat. China could invde our Southern Border, or the one up top with 500,000,000 of their people. They would still have a 700,000,000 residual. The USA would be concoured with no shots fired.

Welfare should be a private pay it forward system! 6 months to get a job, then when u get the job ur check is garnished to pay back to the system that allowed u to live while unemployed! That way the system stays solvent and taxpayers are off the hook!

Ideally yes, but those that would have to pay it back just wouldn’t go to work.. Aid under the table but not actual work on the books.. Its done now.. Rewarded for staying home, having babies and living off the government for the pittance thrown to them.. Vicious cycle it is.
