That is exactly the person who should have been moved to first class...nice

My wife and I got a bump to first class when a substantially overweight woman, who had the window seat, was using over half of my wife's seat to where she was over into a quarter of mine. I'm a big guy, I use all of my seat, and was sticking out into the aisle enough that I was worried carts were going to be whacking me. I asked my wife what are you doing? She whispered the lady next to me is taking up more than half of my seat. I said loudly that's BS, that's not going to fly (I actually did say that). Jeanne was shushing me and telling me to be quiet (out of consideration for the hefty woman). I loudly said no way, this was not going to be okay. I called the stewardess over, my wife frantically telling me to be quiet, me saying no I'm not going to shush. The stewardess looked at how much of my wife's seat was being encroached on and said let me see what we can do. She came back and said they had two seats in first class for us. The woman was all outraged and loudly said she was the one that needed the first class seat, the stewardess nicely said that she now had three seats all to herself and could even stretch out if she wanted, that was it...done deal. I was sure glad they didn't give us just one first class seat and leave me with the coach seat, that would have been a cold and frosty flight.

My cousin was not as you describe.... and she did eat half of what I consume... I am 5'9" and weigh 118 to 121 pounds, depending on the season. She weighed 215 pounds.
She was put into hospital with only an IV in a room that was a containment room, no food was allowed in, women had to check their purses and all gifts were opened to make sure no one smuggled food in. She had only an IV drip for 15 days and did not lose an ounce even with a hired fitness trainer (3 times a day for 45 minutes, 7 days a week). Even after having part of her stomach removed. Even with a professional shopper who was a Nutrition specialist who weighed and measured out her food... and even with surprise inspections of her home in search of "illegal foods." She stuck to the program and could not lose weight. Doctors took blood,, x-rays, samples of all nature and could not explain why she could not lose weight.

And by the way... fat people are humans and some of them enjoy the window seat. They also like to eat in restaurants without people snickering.... they also enjoy a danish with their coffee (and many will not have because someone like you may be watching and judging).... And whats more, the person you hired ... what were you thinking when you brought in donuts? Would you take an alcoholic to the local pub too? Fat shaming your mother to tears must have made you feel so superior. I could go on about the horrors people like you subject them to, and I believe that is the major problem. I think if they were not ostracized and judged, they could allow their body to find its ideal weight without stigma.

But... as I said, good for you for getting your first class ride.

Man Refuses Seat Beside Woman Reading Bible.

I like this story! It was an excellent way to handle a problem on an airplane.
It was a typical airline flight like any other — until one elderly Christian woman was insulted for her faith.
The flight attendant who stepped in is facing controversy for the way she handled the situation.
Two major US airline companies have recently come under fire after the world witnessed their lack of care and blatant abuse of their customers.
But I must admit, when I read this story I couldn’t help but smile.

T he young flight attendant in this situation stands head and shoulders above the rest and it’s no wonder this Facebook post has been shared over 83,000 times! The altercation reportedly began when a middle-aged man arrived at his seat on a crowded flight, but refused to sit down. His seat was next to an elderly white woman reading her Bible. Disgusted, the Muslim man immediately summoned the flight attendant and “demanded another seat". The outraged man proceeded to tell the young flight attendant that he refused to sit next to an “infidel”.
The flight attendant did what any good customer service representative would do and explained that she would try to find another seat. After searching for a seat, the flight attendant returned and reportedly stated: “There are no more seats in economy, but I will check with the captain and see if there is something in first class.”
Almost 10 minutes later, the flight attendant returned and explained that she had found one available seat.The flight attendant continued: “It is our company policy to never move a person from economy to first class, but being that it would be some sort of scandal to force a person to sit next to an unpleasant person, the captain agreed to make the switch to first class.”
Before the outraged man could reply, the attendant gestured to the elderly Christian woman with the Bible and continued: “Madam, if you would so kindly retrieve your personal items, we would like to move you to the comfort of first class as the captain doesn’t want you to sit next to such an unpleasant person”.
It didn’t take long for passengers in the surrounding seats to applaud, while some even gave a standing ovation for the flight attendant.
I couldn’t agree more with the brave flight attendant’s decision to defend this elderly woman and her faith!

This is a great story to read in order to better understand the current decay in public trust of the media. The first thing to note is that there is nothing to collaborate the veracity of the story. No airline filght number date or origin or destination of the flight is listed. Even though the flight is supposedly full there are no witnesses or link to cell phone video that would have been taken by other passengers. This tale is obviously made up to evoke a response from people already married to the false narrative that there is a war on Christianity, and it worked. The story and its outcome is appealing for several reasons; it is an elderly lady being confronted, her detractor is of course Muslim and a man. This reinforces in weak minds that Muslim men are universally threatening especially to vulnerable little old Christian women. The heroic captain and flight crew then displayed generosity and chivalry putting the shocked bad guy in his place and insuring the old lady’s comfort. If you buy into this rot you are a fool, it is fiction and serves only to promote h**e and self righteousness and yet this nonsense is spread like the clap by people who can’t think for themselves. The fact that people are desperate to believe crap like this dosn’t speak well for the state of our nation. If you buy this stuff you owe it to yourself to examine the credibility of your sources and not pass it on. It is a malignancy on our nation. Good citizens and patriots have no excuse for spreading rubbish propaganda. If your ideology is this reliant on lies and fiction you owe it to your fellow Americans to examine what drives your beliefs.

Thank you for asking. Yes her hair was thin from birth. I am not sure which hormone problem you are referencing, but according to seven different doctors she did not have a thyroid problem....but, she was unable to get pregnant although she and her husband checked out fine.
She was the only family member that was like this. Her parents were on the slim side as well as her brother. She passed due to kidney and liver failure. Being Jewish there was no autopsy, so we will never know the exact reason she died.... and she was young, in her 30s. I would like more information about your suspicions.... I still feel that I could have done more to help her. And I have a curious mind, so if you can or care to share.... I am here ready to learn.
