Dem Congresswoman Admits Helping Caravan Members Enter US After They Were Denied Entry

It’s hardly a secret that l*****ts love the idea of open borders and letting i*****l i*********n run amok.

It’s also a well-established fact that Democrats typically harbor a seething hatred of all things related to President Donald Trump and will stoop to any depth to needle the president.

But it takes a certain level of brazenness, even for a l*****t Democrat, to boast about personally helping and bringing members of the migrant caravan across the border just to stick it to Trump.

U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal, a Washington Democrat, apparently has that kind of brazenness.

The 53-year-old Jayapal bragged on her Twitter account about helping migrants get into the United States after they had previously been denied entry.

“I was able to successfully assist 5 asylum seekers – 2 unaccompanied minors, a mother and her 9 year old child, and a young man with a serious medical condition – into the United States,” Jayapal wrote on Twitter.

Wonder why the DOJ, FBI, ICE, AG, etc. aren't making some arrests under Title 8?????, .... they've still got their heads shoved up their own a$$es, looking for the elusive Trump/Russia collusion!!!!!

since she is a member of Congress she can not claim lack of knowledge or I do not recall ("Hillary"). Send here Fort
Smith for her federal trial since it is not a stupid court like the 9th in San Francisco demand the fine and 10 years without parole.

What a travesty, she intervened to see to it that these people were treated in compliance with existing US law and afforded due process to determine if their request for legal asylum is legitimate. What has the country come to when elected officials see to it that the government follows the law?

It varies from state to state and type of trafficking. She would fall under the term of Coyotaje. It can also fall under racketeering laws.
https://www.dhs.gov/human-trafficking-laws-regulations

For CA, here is the potential sentencing.
HUMAN TRAFFICKING. PENALTIES. INITIATIVE STATUTE.
• Increases criminal penalties for human trafficking, including prison sentences up to 15-years-to-life and
fines up to $1,500,000.
• Fines collected to be used for victim services and law enforcement.
• Requires person convicted of trafficking to register as sex offender.
• Requires sex offenders to provide information regarding Internet access and identities they use in online
activities.
• Prohibits evidence that victim engaged in sexual conduct from being used against victim in court
proceedings.
• Requires human trafficking training for police officers.
Summary of Legislative Analyst’s Estimate of Net State and Local Government Fiscal Impact:
• Increased costs, not likely to exceed a couple million dollars annually, to state and local governments for
criminal justice activities related to the prosecution and incarceration of human trafficking offenders.
• Potential one-time local government costs of up to a few million dollars on a statewide basis, and lesser
additional costs incurred each year, due to new mandatory human trafficking-related training requirements
for law enforcement officers.
• Potential additional revenue from new criminal fines, likely a few million dollars annually, which would
fund services for human trafficking victims and for law enforcement activities related to human trafficking.
*****************************

And she specifically bragged about children and someone in a category of most vulnerable. Vulnerable Group Examples:

Delaware raises labor trafficking from a class C to a class B felony when committed against a minor.
Florida raises the trafficking penalty for commercial sexual activity from a first degree felony to a life felony when the crime is committed against a person who is “mentally defective or mentally incapacitated.”
Missouri law creates the crime of “Contributing to Human Trafficking” for those who misuse immigration documents to facilitate trafficking crimes.

What leads you to conclude that their denial of asylum was against our asylum laws? Due process IS being afforded. The difference this time is they are not being allowed to wait within our borders for their court cases but must remain outside the US until they go to court. They were denied asylum. Her descriptions of those she helped in no way addressed the requirements for asylum. Nothing said about political persecution or even simply fearing for their lives.

But even if they fit the criteria, who did she bump back to get these specific cases handled immediately?

If you read beyond the first paragraph, you find that she simply insisted that current law on asylum be followed, amounting to proper queue discipline.

Learn how to read and then you will understand liberals.
