Today it was 98 degrees on the Air conditioned coast. A record. It is usually 65 degrees at this time of year. fact is I have lived here 31 years and it is usually raining at this time. The last heat wave was 20years ago in the first week of june. It was over 100 degree for a week. so hot the schools closed. so much for the cool ocean breeze it is flat hot here !

fom, enjoy the heat while you have it; I've visited Seattle at least twenty times over the years, and I never even saw "hot."

Well I am indoors installing a hardwood floor right now. Drinking lots of water dripping all over.. Better than being on a roof like I usually am. But if I were on a roof I could have a water hose up there with me.

It reached 106 degrees here last summer; even the animals were indignant. The hottest this spring has been 76 degrees, and that didn't stay long.

Good look with the wood floor, it should be beautiful.

Hey thanks for the tip and wow 106 I don't think I ever have seen temps like that, The floor is looking good so far. it is a time consumer but worth it. in the end.

Was only 77 degrees today with a nice breeze still hot for here. better than the two feet of rain in Florida..

I desperately could have used you yesterday evening. We had an indoor wading pool, no thanks to very shoddy work on a gutter. The wet va was emptied about ten times. All the towels have to be laundered. :hunf: :thumbdown:
