The Pumpkinfuhrers panties are in a bunch, and this time it isn’t over being held accountable for his torrid tryst with Putin. He is mad as hell at GM. General Motors has been harmed to the tune of over a billion dollars by Trumps moronic trade war but more damaging is the fact that the American manufacturing plants products can no longer compete with imported automobiles. As a result almost 15,000 high paying American jobs are being lost and five GM plants are being shut down forever. To answer Trumps foolish question “are you tired of winning?” You can bet 15,000 American working families robbed of their livelihood have a clear answer for him, and it’s not repeatable in polite company.

Bulls**t! The reason Ford and GM are laying workers off and closing plants is because consumers have stopped buying their over-priced sorry ass cars.

Nonsense, the cars produced by Ford and GM are fine, they are becoming overpriced due to the i***t Pumpkinfuhrers tariffs on materials used to produce them.

If his socialist predecessor had allowed GM to go under rather than giving all that taxpayer money under TARP as a payoff to the union bosses, its remnants could have been used to build another company which would be fully functional by now and able to compete. Oh, and Kevyn, what about those GM bondholders who got stiffed to the tune of several billion dollars?. Do you think their families enjoyed it?

And what about the other people who have had filled other jobs created in the fields that the socialist said were never coming back? How do you think they feel?

You won’t answer this because you can’t.

Bulls**t again! They have been sorry for years. Just look at the recalls. They have been over-priced for years. Look at the consumer debt on cars and watch the delinquency rate continue climbing.

Ford and GM can no longer compete.

The people who can afford to buy new cars are becoming fewer. New jobs added are lower paying and have little or no benefits. Housing costs too much and tariffs are starting to bite us. Big companies care only about the share holders and executive bonuses. We the people get the shaft and the propaganda machine gives us scapegoats. Glad what I drive is paid for.

TARP legislation was passed in 2008. Mr. Bush was neither a socialist nor Trumps predecessor. All kinds of folks were hurt during the 'great recession'.
What was the question again?

So Tom you'd rather have a part time job? People aren't buying cars, their buying SUV's or 4 door pickups.

Exactly right. If dumb ass Obama hadn't bailed em out they'd have had to wake up, restructure in bankruptcy and build cars people want and can afford. Maybe the CEO bringing in 22 million a year should help with some relief. This has nothing to do with tariffs whether you are for them or not. Kevy's dimmer than a box of rocks.

Not true Tom. New cars are being bought. They just aren't the bigger, less cost efficient cars other companies sell. Where are tariffs biting us. I see a lot of speculation on the future costs of tariffs but nothing yet to panic over. World News reports that the tariffs are really hurting China much more than us. Maybe a little pain for American workers and consumers is worth leveling the playing field in the future. Wait and see.
