Ok, let me break it down for you:
1. you provided this forum with a bogus letter from the UN, claiming that they were taking away our guns...
2. I explained that the letter was bogus and your response was: " I'm just providing a service..." (I'm paraphrasing) of misinformation.
3. Also, I explained that the weapons producers in this country provide more money to prevent an event that would require anyone turning in their weapons.
4. So my point is: you have nothing to fear as long as 40 million households are armed.

The supremes also refused to hear a case challenging Obama's eligibility for the office of president. One justice admitted on national TV that they were evading the issue.

When judges, including sumpreme court justices, are afraid of other politicians, they can simply cop out by refusing to hear a case they are afraid of.

This is suppose to be the reason behind appointing Supreme Court justices for life, so they aren't making rulings based on other peoples opinions only the constitutionality of the cases in front of them. But of course this also gives them immunity to choose not do their jobs and get away with it.

I'm sorry but American citizens no longer have doctor patient privacy rights, attorney privacy rights, right to a trial by jury, freedom of speech and very soon no longer any right to protect our families and homes.

But where is the MSM, oh that's right their having their phones taped and computers hacked and homes raided.

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Patty, this is chiefly why I'm not worried about my guns. I can hand each member of my household a weapon, go on, knock on my front door jackass!

There are 40 million households that have weapons...how many doughnut processors, I mean Police Officers do we have...that was point to you originally. Finally dawned on you, eh? I didn't say all my weapons are registered did I?....

When the spirit of liberty, which now animates our hearts and gives success to our arms is extinct, our numbers will accelerate our ruin and render us easier victims to tyranny.

If ye love wealth better than liberty the tranquility of servitude than animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you and posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

Our government wants you to believe it can give you wealth and safety, all you have to do is give up liberty.

But you don't really want liberty because that means personal responsibility, risk and uncertainty because it's better to be a pampered s***e.

If you cannot stand competition.
If you are afraid to compete in the animating contest of freedom
If your willing to k**l, steal, or in anyway initiate force against another human being in order to obtain tranquility, wealth and luxury you are a s***e !

Apparently Ben Carson has read much more about our founding fathers than president Obama has.

No one can logically argue your/Carson's points. I can make statements that I will submit to s***ery because I know I am right. When the time actually comes, how will I respond? Personally I know in my heart that I will be k**led, and if so, it is no big loss. I am 75 years old, had a good life, and not afraid of death. I am at the point no one relies on me. But I can understand how it could be different for a young family man of 32 with a wife and three children to care for, KNOWING that, if he must die for freedom, surely his wife and three children will too. I'm not saying he should acquiesce to the oppressors, I'm saying it may be very difficult to. They are in my thoughts a LOT.

This is a d********g, but not surprising, finding by SCOTUS. It seems now that everyone who can do anything to stop this heinous political c**p has been roped in with the criminals, whether by choice or by threat or payment we may never know.

I read a lot of the citizens' comments on WND re this article, and some seem ready to do battle. It is reaching the point that we can rest assured it is us vs THEM. They have all the might. It is to our advantage that WE have all the "right", all the American fervor, all the grit, and all the propriety AND the US Constitution on OUR side. No nation is coming to save us. No one in office will be saving us. It would appear we have been had. If we fight, most of us will die. I don't want to die. Do you? Do we prefer living in captivity, or even under a dictator even if not in captivity? I believe now is the time to seriously make the decision about how we handle this horrid news. It's either us, or nothing, people. I firmly believe that now.

How about Citizens' arrests? Not sure how that works, but they are breaking our own laws. Or sue them and find a way to get rid of them all? How do we start doing something like this? I'll probably have military at my door because what I'm saying here is considered being a troublemaker. Never thought I'd see this day. We are now without freedom.

I might be a bit strange but when my grand parents passed away I didn't so much morn the loss of their companionship and love but the loss of the knowledge they had obtained from lives well lived.

I respect you and the knowledge you post here on this forum, I believe the world will be less with your absence.

And yes I think that is kind of the point it's much easier being a pampered s***e than a free man. Very little worth having is seldom easy, it takes effort personal responsibility and sacrifice to obtain ones goals.

So in your world view it is not the constitution that guarantees our rights but the end of a gun barrel ?

Regrettably, that theory maybe tested.

I brought her (Ruby) and this one back from Costa Rica with me. They were both discarded street dogs. Wow what an ordeal. Good thing cheap bribes work in Central America.
