For the previous 8 years under the halfricans regime we experienced an old fundamental t***sformation of our country by him with typical worn out DNC ideology, platitudes, hyperbole and socialist democrat idioms. He trotted all over the world telling 3rd world despots just how bad America was/is, and now we have a no-nonsense, straight talking NYC street fighter pushing back against the inside belt way establishment swamp, and the snowflake socialist democrats are going apoplectic. How sweet it is!

And, I'm not demanding sympathy for anything. I understand Mr. Trump's animosity towards the media, and feel like it's mostly justified. I wouldn't necessarily handle it in the exact same way that he does, but I'm not mad at how he does it. He should fight back.

I think civility needs to be mutual. I've always been a very outspoken hothead myself, and have learned to hold my tongue unless I'm under continual assault as Mr. Trump is.
I think he should be a little more subtle about it, but he's a New Yorker, and those people are just naturally brash, and rude. Unlike us Texans.
Part of the cultural differences in this huge country in my opinion.

The problem is that there was no smackdown of anyone. Once one party of an interaction iniates violent contact, chivalry dies and self defense rules apply.

The female intern was not smacked nor deliberately touched as SHE lunged in and grabbed for the mic and was unable to dislodge it from his grasp. The fact that the unplanned contact thus initiated by her action, of her arm with his hand as he twisted away from her can, at some artful angles and, if sped up artificially, appear to be a "karate chop" only shows that many people have never seen a real karate chop.

I think one of the "rules" thus generated should evict Mr. Trump from public conferences as soon as he starts getting snotty and disrespectful, saying things like, "Here we go again!" (eyeroll and mugface to camera) as he did for Mr. Acosta's respectfully worded but intensely pertinent and challenging question. If the best that a leader can do is this eight year old level snotty attempt to control the conversation, instead of imparting pertinent new information to his public we're all f***** anyway.

Mr. Trump is so easily distracted by creating and engaging in f**e shiny baubles of disinformation and ongoing personal vendettas, that he cannot answer the need for information the public requires. Sad.
