C’est la vie

Yep he was a big attention seeker--blew his horn about how great of an attorney he was.

LOL, at times byron, I think of sending a comment of yours to my least favorite politician...

As an aside, I wonder how many of those attorneys have kept their license active??

I would guess your least favorite politician, is seated at the desk in the Oval Office. Bear with the honorable Donald J Trump, after all, he's a Newby. Another cute little point..the President is just beginning to get his political legs to stand on, amongst all of our creatures from both sides of the isle. As far as attournies who retained their license, after being elected, no need, they went from the courtroom to the despicable freak show of the House and Senate. Both sides.

The fact most don’t retain their license says volumes. Must be more lucrative to be a politician

Sure it is. They don't have to work, hire staff on their own dime, or show up to screw people.

Exactly. Nor do they have to rely on that wonderful entity for retirement called Social Security or their 401K tanking. Oh, that's right they dont have 401K's. they get a nice tax payer funded pension.

Much much more, for the most part, attournies have to work somewhat at taking money, a politician just needs to be there, hand out.

t***h... the fine attorny i had in mind is my son... he is indeed fine.. and is being considered for nomination to a big deal award this year but he goes ballistic when I tell him i may post it all.
So I will post nothing about him..

Also, the orange guy was not on my mind either..

As you may or maynot know.. the blue wave indeed swept the state..

except for my little corner of it...

both my personal reps lost a bitter and attack ad filled race..

The state rep was no surprise, this flaming red hot bed in a sea of blue has very seldom had a good democrat to champion for it..

The 8th congressional district was the tough one..

the GOP got some guy with a well known hockey name... Stauber..out of Duluth..

Duluth or/and the Iron range have lead past e******ns.. so I looked at results our of Duluth/county.. they went for my man Tom... looked to the Iron range,
They went for Tom.. I looked at all the arrow head counties, they went for Tom..

Only the Southern fringe counties went for Stauber.. damn, they are not really north country people down there, most drive the cities for work. the district is that large and varied..

Those southerners should not be included..

Nuts, so I would have kicked the dog, but we do not have one.. could not catch the darn cats, they knew I had bad intentions..

I have been told to bask in the rest of the e******n results, but my winter is shot.. even the walk on water a couple days ago was no help..

sports suck.. may as well hobble outside and try to unfreeze my garden hoses..

Congratulations on having successful children, not all lawyers are dirtbags and vultures. I do recall you saying that your daughter is the most intelligent of the sibblings. If I remember you said "she's Republican or Conservative"? 😎
We've been down to 8 degrees so far but nice days. We usually see -30 most winters, and hope for snow to warm things up.

My little girl has always been an outlaw sort of... but she is very smart, an never ending challenge also but what the heck.

Of course now she is a middle age woman and it is her kids who pose the challenge..

Did not think you got so cold, This has been unusual cold month, guy down the road claims below zero the other night, but my always super temp showed that same 8 degrees you enjoyed..

-30 is cold for every one.. they say our last few winters have been warm, especially the nights.. but that has meant warmer then 30 below.. for me, 20 below is still more cold then needed.
